The Buzz Truck Announces Sale to Source Coffeehouse

After nearly five years of bringing the buzz to coffee lovers across Fairfield County, The Buzz Truck LLC. is announcing the sale of its little black school bus to Source Coffeehouse, a beloved locally-owned, neighborhood coffee shop in the heart of Black Rock in Bridgeport, CT. The new Source Coffeebus is due to hit the road by Labor Day 2017.

“The Buzz Truck was a labor of love and we know that ‘Buzzy’ will be in great hands,” said Jessica Grutkowski, co-owner, The Buzz Truck LLC. “It’s hard to say good bye, but we’re ready for a new adventure. The team at Source has tons of experience and is a natural fit to help take our concept to the next level.”

Fans can expect to see the rebranded food truck on the road in and around Fairfield County shortly after Labor Day Weekend 2017. Like its namesake coffee shop, the Source Coffeebus plans to offer coffee, tea and food — all sourced from high quality, local ingredients whenever possible. While the truck will be fully rebranded under Source, co-owner Courtney Hartl promised to keep the bus’ nickname as Buzzy.

“We’ve been considering a mobile option for Source and the timing couldn’t have been better,” said Courtney Hartl, co-owner, Source Coffeehouse. “It’s a natural next step for our local shop and something our customers have been requesting.”

The Source Coffeebus will be available for events of all sizes throughout Fairfield County and is currently accepting requests via e-mail. New on the coffee bus will be the addition of nitro cold brew coffee and tea, with other fun ideas in the works.
