Westchester Burger to Open First CT Location in Stamford via CTPost CTbites Team December 15, 2015 As reported in the CTPost, Westchester Burger, the NY-based micro-chain is expanding across the border when they open the first CT location at 1980 West Main St. in Stamford, which formerly housed Rizzuto’s. With four other locations in Westchester County and West Nyack, NY it is exciting news for the burger chain. It is anticipated that the Stamford restaurant will open within the next six weeks. According to the Westchester Burger website, “The Original WBC Burger is comprised of 10 ounces of prime beef, blanketed in smoked mozzarella, garnished with frisse, tomato and pickles and slathered in DiFeo’s own secret WBC sauce. Already the burger has been named in Westchester Magazine‘s best of Westchester and was voted the magazine’s choice for best burger in the Hudson Valley. Recently it was also nominated for the award of best burger in New York on NYBeef.org.” With a whopping 23 different burger options, plus wings, salads and flatbreads, and plenty of on-site parking this new location will surely be a family destination.
