Chocopologie Greenwich Now Open

Life on the Gold Coast just got a little bit sweeter. Chocopologie has opened a pop-up shop in Greenwich at 30 West Putnam Avenue open today through Easter. Serving Fritz Knipschildts' signature chocolates, truffles, cakes, cookies, coffee and hot chocolate, this location is Chocopologie's second pop-up shop and third location in addition to their wildly successful New Haven pop-up shop and SoNo factory and café.

You know those annoying guests who arrive early for your party while you are busy getting dressed and food prepped? That would be me today. 

I visited in the midst of their opening day, just as they were putting the finishing touches on the chalkboard menu, lining the cases with truffles, carrying in jars of chocolate sauce and filling glass containers with seasonal treats like Eggnog truffles.

The shop is narrow and split in half lengthwise, with cases and prep counters lining the right. Behind glass, truffles tease you in neat piles on slabs of granite. And a prep station for baked goods is located at the rear.

In addition to grab-and-go snacks, gifts and chocolate boxes will also be available for that perfect sweet holiday gift or perhaps just a treat for yourself. For someone who spends a lot of time in the neighborhood, this will be a welcome seasonal addition and a stone's throw away from the top of busy Greenwich Avenue.

Chocopologie Greenwich is located at 30 West Putnam Avenue in Greenwich, CT. Hours of operation are Sunday 10 am to 6 pm, Monday & Tuesday 8 am through 6 pm, Thursday 8 am to 8 pm, Friday 8 am to 10 pm, Saturday 9 am to 10 pm.
