Restaurant Events Wine Dinners Dessert Café Chocopologie Offers New Tasting Events Amy Kundrat May 04, 2011 Café Chocopologie is teaming up with chocolate guru Clay Gordon, author of Discover Chocolate as well as the man behind the site The Chocolate Life, to create a new series of sophisticated events designed to entice serious foodies and chocoholics to the South Norwalk Café and retail outpost of Knipschildt Chocolatier. Aiming to offer an experience beyond the usual wine dinner, Chocopologie's series of events combine intriguing pairings of chocolate, spirits and food. The first came in April as a five-part pairing of scotch and chocolates pairing Knipschildt chocolates with five single malt Scotches. The next events sounds even better, so be sure to clear your calendar and make a reservations at 203.854.4754.May 10: Sophisticated Pairings 101: Beer, Cheese, Chocolate This event will feature five beers, five chocolates, and five cheeses and focus on helping participants understand how and why food pairings actually work through a series of exercises that participants can easily learn and use on their own. Price is $65/person ($60 if you attended the April Single-Malt pairing).
