25+ Restaurants & Bars for Cinco de Mayo in CT: 2018 Edition

Get out your big hats… this year, the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo fall on the same day!  Across Connecticut, restaurants and bars will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo with tequila dinners, drink specials, creative tacos, and more.  Click here for a complete guide so you can plan your fiesta!

1. Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, Fairfield and New Haven: Geronimo Tequila Bar and Southwest Grill will be offering “Five Days of Cinco” at its New Haven and Fairfield locations.
2. Mezon, Danbury: Mezon in Danbury will host its annual Cinco de Mayo block party with $7 plates and drinks, a live DJ, a cocktail competition and more. Doors open at 7pm.
3. Dos Amigos, Torrington: Karaoke meets Cinco de Mayo at Dos Amigos in Torrington.
4. CINCO Norwalk Block Party, Norwalk: CTBites, Ken Tuccio, and Don Carmelo's Mexican Grill & Tequila Bar in Norwalk are teaming up for CINCO, a massive Cinco De Mayo Block Party event. The event kicks off at 12pm and it is an all day party four live bands, two culinary competitions and the debut of Evenflow Mexican Lager from No Worries. 
5. Bartaco, Stamford, Westport, West Hartford: Bartaco Westport is kicking off the summer with their Cinco de Mayo fiesta! Visit them for live music, a summer bucket list contest, and surprise giveaways.
6. Cinco Five Festival, Stamford: The first annual CINCO FIVE FESTIVAL will take place in Stamford on Saturday, May 5 from 3-9pm at Stamford's Mill River Park! There will be food trucks, DJs, and plenty of beer and sangria. 21+.
7. The Spread, Norwalk: The Spread Sono is celebrateing Cinco De Mayo by adding Chicken Enchiladas, Chicken Quesadilla, Carne Asada Quesadilla Tacos, and Guac & Chips to its regular menu.
8. Craft260 Cask Festival, Fairfield: Keep the party going on Sunday May 6 with Craft260's Craft Cask Festival. 20+ local breweries will be bringing two casks each created special just for this event.
9. Bistro Versailles, Greenwich: At Bistro Versailles in Greenwich, there will be Happy Hour from 4-7pm, complete with an all new “Mezcal Rita" for $7 and 3x Tacos of the Day.
10. Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant, East Hartford & Mystic: The countdown is on for Margarita's epic Cinco de Mayo celebration. Visit the website for the exact time... right down to the minute.
11. Bodega, Darien & Fairfield: Bodega has locations in Darien and Fairfield so you can easily get there to celebrate Cinco.
12. Cinco de Mayo Brews, Tunes, & Food Trucks, Newtown: The Cinco de Mayo Brews, Tunes and Food Trucks Fiesta on May 5 will be held at Tier 1 Field, 31 Pecks Lane, Newtown. There will be plenty of food and drinks... plus corn hole.
13. Eli’s Tavern, Milford: On Tuesday May 1, kick off the Cinco De Mayo Festivities early with Eli's Tavern. Learn about tequila and make your own cocktails.
14. El Segundo, Norwalk: El Segundo's Cinco de Mayo celebration is "tres" times the fun with 3 days of parties! Join them May 3-6 for specials, live music, giveaways, and more.
15. Artisan, Southport: Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, Artisan in Southport is opening its patio. They will have a patio kick off party on May 3 with live music, complimentary hors d'oeuvres, and signature cocktails from 5-7pm.
16. Taco Loco, Bridgeport: Taco Loco is hosting its annual Cinco de Mayo party again! There will be ALL DAY drink specials, live music, giveaways, Tacos and Tequila!
17. Infinity Music Hall & Bistro, Hartford: Ed Fast is bringing his 9 piece band ‘Conga Bop’ to Infinity Hall & Bistro in Hartford for Cinco de Mayo.
18. Trumbull Kitchen, Hartford: The fiesta starts early at Trumbull Kitchen with a Patron dinner on Thursday May 3.
19. The Hops Company “T.H.C.,” Derby: Come on down to The Hops Company for Cinco de Mayo and The Kentucky Derby. There will be live entertainment, specialty drinks including Angry Orchard’s Hard Cider Rose, activities, and a hat contest.
20. Stony Creek, Branford: The first ever Stony Creek Derby de Mayo will take place in Branford on May 5. The day will be filled with Big Hats, Beer Juleps, La Garza Mexican Lager, Food Trucks, Tacos, and more.
21. Foxwoods Pub Crawl, Foxwoods Casino: The Annual Cinco de Mayo Pub Crawl is back at Foxwoods. For just $10, guests 21+ can enjoy a fun-filled pub crawl which features festive beverage specials and prizes at participating locations. It starts at 6pm.
22. Acapulcos, Stratford: Alcapulco's in Stratford always has a great Cinco de Mayo party. Be sure to show up early... the line forms fast!
23. Blackstone, Southington: Blackstone Irish Pub may be, well, Irish, but they are still celebrating Cinco! Stop by for $6 Irish Coronaritas. Plus, there will be prizes and cash giveaways for the best themed outfit.
24. Sur La Table, Canton: On Friday May 4, Sur la Table in Canton invites you to a Cinco de Mayo cooking class with Fresh Sweet Corn Tamales; Pork, Hominy and Tomato Stew; and Mexican Shortbread Cookies.
25. Flinders Lane, Stamford: In honor of Cinco, Flinders Lane in Stamford will offer a Spring Margarita and Micheladas at happy hour prices.
26. Ridgefield Gone Country BBQ, Ridgefield: The 5th Annual Ridgefield Gone Country BBQ Festival in Ridgefield starts Saturday May 5 at 11am and runs thru Sunday at 5pm.
27. Fairfield Theater Company, Fairfield: Enjoy a FREE evening of Cinco-de-Mayo-inspired music at FTC from 5-10pm on May 5.
