Ingredients Wine Tasting Beer Stew Leonard’s: "Taste of CT" Wine, Beer & Spirits Tasting CTbites Team March 12, 2012 Stew Leonard’s Wines of Danbury invites customers to a complimentary “Taste of Connecticut” wine, beer and spirits tasting on Saturday, March 31 from Noon – 7:00 p.m. This tasting is celebration of local Connecticut producers who will be pouring samples for customers to taste throughout the day. The schedule is as follows: Noon – 2:00 p.m.: Hooker Brewing Company from Hartford will taste their Hop Meadow IPA ($8.99) and Munich Lager ($8.99). Connecticut-based Peel Liqueurs will taste their handcrafted Peel Limoncello ($19.99) and Peel Cremoncello ($20.99) during this time as well. 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.: Cavalry Brewing from Oxford will taste their Hatch Plug Ale, X Limited Edition Ale and Marauder IPA ($8.99/each). Onyx Spirits Co will also be on hand at this time to taste Onyx Moonshine ($20.99), direct from Manchester. 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.: Cottrell Brewing from Pawcatuck will taste their 100 point Old Yankee Ale. Digrazia Vineyards of Brookfield will also taste 3 wines during this time, including their Wild Blue ($22.99), Anastasia’s Blush ($14.99) and Fieldstone Reserve ($14.99). The wine, beer, and spirits specialists from Stew Leonard’s Wines of Danbury will also be available to answer customers’ questions.
