Darien Social sandwiches Thanksgiving with 2 nights of live music. On Wednesday November 26, listen to Tangled Vines and on Friday November 28 enjoy the Fry Daddys. Both bands go on at 9pm. Several restaurants are open for Thanksgiving and offering special menus in honor of the occasion. Friday, November 28, 2014 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Santa Claus Comes to Stew Leonard’s of Newington, CT. He’ll arrive on a Newington Fire Department truck while Wow the Cow, Cynthia the Chick, and Daphne the Duck greet guests. This event is free. Saturday November 29, the Dave Kardas Band comes to Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford at 9pm.
