Play With Your Food Gala Benefit November 15th

Now in its 13th Season, Play With Your Food, the popular lunchtime play series in Westport, Fairfield and Greenwich is hosting a Gala Benefit on Saturday November 15th.  

The non-profit arts organization, Jib Productions, Inc., has lined up an entertaining evening filled with food, cocktails, and a specially created performance selected for the evening by Artistic Director Carole Schweid. 

Special dining stations and passed hors d’oeuvres will be presented by over 15 local restaurants including Blue Lemon, Da Pietro’s , Terrain, Tierra, Garelick & Herbs, Matsu Sushi, Qdoba Mexican Grill,  Isabelle & Vincent, Oscar's, Mario's, Black Duck, The Pantry, RolyPoly, Safita, Spic'nSpan, Tutti's...and more

Plus specialty vodka drinks by Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and wine by Dan’s Liquors, The Soda Man, and Direct Wines.  Silent auction items include dinner packages at bartaco, dinner at the “chef’s table” at Barcelona and an overnight stay at The Delamar Southport along with dinner at Chef Frederik Kieffer’s farm- to table restaurant, Artisan. 

And what would Play With Your Food be without… Plays and Musical numbers!

Festive frivolities include hilarious playwright Fred Stroppel’s play, J -E-T-S, (we all know how the Jets are doing this season) and patter for narrators, well-known actors Nadine Willig and Tom Zingarelli.
 

Laughter and tears will follow NYC’s Josh Sinczowicz’ performance in Move On; in a Danny Kaye moment on piano, madcap musician Paul Bogaev will share his knowledge of Russian composers at breakneck speed.  

Rounding out the program is tuneful trilling by Kim Maresca, (off- Broadway in Ruthless), Jodi Stevens and Susan Terry, and the swingin’ sax of Jim Clark.  A great line up and a memorable Saturday night out!  

Tickets are priced at $150 per person, a tax-deductible contribution as this event benefits both future and ongoing programs presented by Play With Your Food and Jib Productions.  Tickets available online or by calling box office 203 293 8729.
