13 Places to Celebrate New Years Eve in Fairfield County CT

Plans for New Year's Eve? Usher in the New Year at one of Fairfield County's favorite restaurants and celebrate with great food, music and libations. Many will offer their regular menus while others are offering fix prixe extravaganzas. CTbites New Year's Eve round-up summarizes those restaurants that are offering special menus for ringing in 2015!!! Make your reservations early as the best spots and times usually go first.

Here are 13 Fairfield County New Year's Eve Restaurant Parties...

Bar Sugo (Norwalk)

Bar Sugo is offering two options. In addition to the regular menu, Chef Pat will offer a 5-course prix fixe menu including roasted cauliflower, burrata, duck and foie gras triangoli, 2-month dry aged bistecca, and mascapone cheesecake. This event is priced at $79 (tax and gratuity additional) that can be paired with wines for an additional $49. There are three seatings…5:30, 7:30, 9:30, with the last seating celebrating the dropping of the ball with a complimentary champagne toast.

Boulevard 18 (New Canaan)

Boulevard 18 is featuring a three-course prix fixe menu. The first course include a choice of kale salad, lobster bisque, foie gras, or steak tartare; followed by entrée selections of filet mignon, duckling, day boat scallops or a vegetable cassoulet; and finished with a dessert of either pot de crème, apple tart or a raspberry sorbet. The dinner is priced at $95 (plus tax and gratuity). A wine paring is also available for an additional $50.

Elm (New Canaan)

Elm will feature a 3-course prix fixe menu for adults and children. Start the festivities with champagne accompanied by an amuse and caviar toasts then move to dinner with choices for appetizers including a little gem and lettuce salad, escargots, foie gras and Elm’s soft farm egg ravioli; entrées that include lobster, suckling pig, beef tenderloin and a sunchoke risotto, and finish the evening enjoying Pastry Chef Stabinsky’s churros, champagne granite or chocolate tart for dessert. The price is $115 (tax and gratuity additional) that can be paired with wines for an additional $70. Children can join as well with the price of $40.

Harlan Social (Stamford)

Harlan Social will offer a regular dinner option for reservations up to 730PM. The tables will be cleared at 915 and at 930 the restaurant will re-open and the NYE activities begin. Guests will enjoy a buffet from 930-1245. The buffet will include Cheese & Charcuterie, Brats and Kraut,Warm Bavarian Pretzels, Asian-Style Chicken Wings, Braised Lamb Flatbread, Ahi Tuna Lettuce Cups and Warm Baked Goat Cheese. The price for the evening is $95 all inclusive.  Each guest will receive 5 drink tokens. Regular drinks will be priced at 1 token and premium at 2 tokens, with discounted prices on drinks also available.

Harlan Publick (South Norwalk)

Harlan Publick will offer a regular dinner option for reservations up to 730. The tables will be cleared at 915 and at 930 the restaurant will re-open and the NYE activities begin. Guests will enjoy a buffet from 930-1245. The buffet will include Cheese & Charcuterie, Korean Fried Chicken, Harlan Burgers, Aji Pork Tacos, Peekytoe Crab Fritters, Mushroom and Goat Cheese empanadas, Shrimp Cocktail and Flat Breads. The price for the evening is $95 all inclusive.  Each guest will receive 5 drink tokens. Regular drinks will be priced at 1 token and premium at 2 tokens, with discounted prices on drinks also available.

Mama’s Boy (South Norwalk)

Mama’s Boy will offer a three course dinner with a complimentary glass of champagne and party favors. The price for the evening is $85 (tax and gratuity additional). And don’t miss the hangover cure on New Year’s Day when Mama’s Boy serves brunch from 1030-500 with live music from Night Market beginning at noon and bottomless mimosas from 1-4.

Match (South Norwalk)

Match will offer three seatings, at 5, 7 and 9:30. It will offer its regular menu plus a list filled with Indulgences that include caviar, truffles, Kobe beef, foie gras, lobster, just to name a few. There will be a champagne toast at midnight capping the celebration featuring DJ Suzy Suz playing Spotify Tunes all night! 

Napa & Co. (Stamford)

Join Napa at their “Supper Club.” They are offering dinner from 5-11 and music from 10-1. They are offering both a la carte and prix fixe menus with a champagne toast at midnight. The 4 course prix fixe menu will also offer a wine pairing option for $100 or paired with wines for $150 (tax and gratuity additional).

Paloma (Stamford)

Chef and partner Aarón Sánchez is serving a special Latin-inspired prix fixe menu with special ingredients. Seatings begin at 5pm through 9:45pm. Priced at $85-95 (depending on the chosen entree), the three-course prix fixe menu with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine with dessert. The bar will be open until 2am. And from 11pm - 2am, all bubbly will be 50% off. Start the evening with a Botanas that will include Lobster Ceviche, Mexican Five Spice Grilled Quail, Crispy Sweetbreads, and Braised Beef Cheek Sope; entrées selections will include Pan Roasted Black Bass Vatapa, Slow Cooked Goat, Paella (for 2), and Grilled Rib Eye with dessert of Molten Chocolate Cake, Pineapple Tart Tartin or Dulce de Leche Flan.

South End (New Canaan)

South End will host a fourcourse prix fixe menu with live music. While sipping on your pre-dinner cocktails enjoy the Amuse of oyster and scallop with shaved foie gras. Then choose from lobster risotto, smoked Gouda and pablano soup, spicy tuna poke, or burrata salad for your appetizer before indulging in an entrée that includes a choice of braised beef shortribs, whole wheat parpadelle with lamb ragu, Montauk skate wing, smoked pig or caramelized diver scallops. Finish the evening with “S’mores” pie, sticky toffee pudding, or winter shortcake. The evening is priced at $85 (plus tax and gratuity). 

Spread (South Norwalk)

It's a Studio 54 party at The Spread this year. Beginning at 7 guests will be treated to a four course sit down dinner with a champagne toast at midnight. Entertainment will be supplied by DJ Dharma and a Photo Booth will be on sight to capture all the memories. Dinner and cocktails will be served from 7-11. The evening is priced at $100 (plus tax and gratuity).

Strada 18 (South Norwalk)

Enjoy the a la carte menu with some added special or partake in the four-course prix fixe celebration. Begin the evening with a few amuse-bouche and then move to the main event. Appetizers include a choice of smoked salmon or foie gras followed by a soup or salad; choices of entrées include lobster stew, filet mignon or duck and finish with a dessert of crème brulée or pineapple upside down cake. The cost for the evening is $75 (plus tax and gratuity).

Walrus + Carpenter (Bridgeport)

W+C is hosting its 80 Proof New Year’s Party immediately following the four-course prix fixe dinner. The Party will feature John Torres, Scott Evan and some other local favorites playing ’80s music live as the clock counts down to 2015. The dinner includes appetizer choices of pork belly or shrimp, with the second course offering lamb Chops, oysters Rockefeller or kale salad. These will be followed by smoked rib eye, lobster + scallops, or bacon wrapped squab; and finished with dessert that includes chocolate peanut butter mousse cake, lemon curd tart, or a cookie plate. The evening is priced at $65 (plus tax and gratuity) and includes a complimentary midnight Champagne.
