Holiday Flip Cocktail Recipe via Sean Nye of Match in SoNo

Holiday Flip Cocktail Recipe

1.5 oz cardamaro

1.5 oz applejack brandy

1/8 oz allspice dram

1/2 2:1 simple syrup

1 whole egg

Grated nutmeg

Add the egg first to a cocktail shaker and then ice on top. Finish adding remaining ingredients and shake vigorously. Strain contents of shaker back into smaller shaker tin. Cap and then shake again to froth egg. Double strain into a rocks or coffee highball with one large cube. Grate nutmeg on top and serve!
