Throw caution to the wind and join fellow Scotch lovers at Boulevard 18 on Thursday January 29th and celebrate the birthday of poet Robert Burns. Chef David Raymer is creating a special four course dinner, each paired with a special Scotch chosen by Alex Meier-Tomkins, the Spirits Portfolio Manager and Scottish Whiskey Guru for Slocum & Sons Importers & Spritis Merchants.

This special evening begins with a reception with a Welcome Scotch Cocktail served with Smoked Scottish Salmon Canapes with crème fraiche, tobiko, capers on pumpernickel.

Once seated the meal commences with Scotch Eggs served with Tolouse sausage and brioche crumbs paired with a glass of Glendronach 15 Yr, Highland. This course is followed by a Pancetta-Wrapped Monkfish with Shiitake mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, Fingerling potatoes in a Scotch-sherr buerre blanc sauce. Enjoy a glass of Glen Rothes 2001 Vintage, Speyside and BenRiach 15 yr “Sautern Cask Finish’ Speyside

The next course includes a Roast Venison with haricot vert, parsnip puree, with a coffee-chocolate sauce, complemented with Springbank ‘Cask Strength’ 12 Yr Campbelltown and Longrow 15 Yr ‘Burgundy Wood Finish’ Campbelltown.

Finish the evening with Chocolate-Fig-Hazelnut Brownie with chocolate ice cream and whisky hot fudge accompanied by BenRiach ‘Solstice’ 17 Yr (Peated with Port Cask Finish) Speyside.
