GIVEAWAY!! Kawa Ni Hosts 6 Cocktail Competitions & YOU Can Win a Seat

Jeff Marron, Beverage/Bar Manager and master of all things cocktails for Kawa Ni, The Whelk & Le Farm, has cooked up a little friendly competition for your drinking pleasure. 6 craft cocktail contests will be held, each with a different group of celebrity competitors (see rules below), where master mixologists will go head to head to create some of the best drinks in Fairfield County. Each event will feature 6 judges, and only 30 guests. Small bites and hors d’oeurves will be provided by LeFarm, The Whelk and/or Kawa NI. 

CTbites is giving away 6 seats to ATTEND or JUDGE one of these exclusive events. 

How can YOU score a seat? Come up with a name for cocktail in the photo above. We will select our top 6 names for the 1st event on March 24th!

Ingredients: Tito's Vodka, Thai Chili infused Merlet, Creme de Cassis, Contratto Bianco, Vermouth, Fresh Lime Topped with Club Soda Lemon peel garnish

RULES:

Contestants are asked to arrive at 5pm at Kawa NI for orientation

6:30 start time for competition

Contestants will have 30 minutes to make your five identical cocktails

Contestants MUST use at least 1 ounce of the SPONSORED ingredient

Contestants MUST use at least ¼  ounce of the SECRET ingredient

Contestants are encouraged to bring their own bar tools

Contestants will be allowed to use any items behind the bar at Kawa Ni including eggs, fruit, vegetables and other such ingredients from the kitchen.

Contestants will be allowed to bring one non-alcoholic ingredient from your job, such as syrups, juices, sodas, aromatic waters, salts, sugars, compound butter, ice, etc.

Contestants are required to make 5 identical cocktails.

(1 Photograpic, 2  For judges panel, 2 for public sampling)

Prizes are awarded to the 1st , 2nd and 3rd place winners

The 1st place winner will be automatically entered into the final round at the end of the series on Sunday, Nov 15th at The Whelk

If you are a 1st place winner and are unable to attend the final round, the 2nd place winner of the event you participated in will have the opportunity to take your place.
