Stamford’s Harbor Point now boasts “Sign of the Whale,” a roof top beer garden with views of Long Island Sound.  Visit them on weekdays for happy hour from 4-7pm.  During that time, try $4 drafts, $5 mixed drinks, and $2 off all wine by the glass. 

Freshii Fairfield is encouraging kids to eat healthy with its “Kids Eat Free program” in the month of May.  Kids ages 10 and under will receive a free, healthy lunch on weekends with the purchase of an adult entrée.

CT has great beers and now you can try them at Cask Republic New Haven.  Monday, May 11 is an ALL CT Night!  They’ll have brews from every brewery in CT available.

May 12th, Vespa in Westport will host the 1st of their Vintage Vespa wine dinners w/ Marchesi Fumanelli's “Iconic Wines from an Iconic Family.” The Marchesi Fumanelli family have been cultiaving grapes and producing prestigious wines since 1470. Event starts @6:30pm, $125 not including tax or gratuity

Tuesday May 12, AMG Catering invites you to a “Spring Fish Class” focusing on dishes like roasted halibut with fennel and potatoes, parmesan crusted Cod with bruscetta topping, and shrimp with braised leeks and whole wheat pasta.  It goes from 7-9pm and costs $90 per person.  

Fairfield/Greenwich Cheese Company invited you to a class focusing on cheese and cider.  Try hard ciders paired with artisanal cheeses for $45 per person.  The class will be held at the Fairfield location Tuesday March 17 from 7-9pm and at the Greenwich location Thursday March 19 from 7-9pm. 

Barcelona Stamford continues its cocktail series on Tuesday May 12 with “Playing with Bitters.”  As an added bonus, Chef Scott Quis will prepare small bites to go with the drinks.  It starts at 7pm and costs $35 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Thursday May 15, Jones Family Farms in Shelton will have another installation of their Sip & Savor Wine Education Classes, this time focusing on Poland.  Feast on a three course, family style supper that includes four wine pairings while learning about the offerings.  It costs $70 per person and runs from 6:30-8:30pm. 

Mystic Aquarium and Ocean Blue Catering are teaming up to host the 1st ever Mystic Food Truck Rally on Saturday, May 16 from 11am-5pm.  The FREE event gives guests the chance to try gourmet cuisine from local food truck chefs. Saturday, May 16, the Ives Concert Park in Danbury will serve as the venue for the second Brews and BBQ event.  The day will feature BBQ from local restauranteurs, craft beer and live music from Nashville Drive and Robert Randolph and the Family Band.  Advance tickets are $15 and your first beer free. Tickets are $20 at the door.  

The Jamie Oliver Food Revolution returns to New Canaan, CT on Saturday, May 16 from 10am – 12pm, once again getting kids and parents excited about food.  Families can visit participating New Canaan restaurants and stores to taste samples and get a stamp in their passport.   

Central Norwalk’s award-winning artisan bakery, Wave Hill Breads, is now open to the public every Saturday from 10am-3pm. Visitors will be greeted by the owners, Margaret Sapir and Mitchell Rapoport, or by the Chief Baker, Tim Topi, who can give you a tour of the bakery.
