Italian food exporter Gioacchino Passalaqua and Sicilian chef Claudio Ruta,are teaming up for a 4-course B.Y.O.B. “Taste of Italy” menu. Ruta is a Michelin Star recipient for his restaurant La Fenice in Ragusa, Sicily. Dinner starts at 7:30pm and tickets are $80 per person. Seating is extremely limited. They've paired four of our limited and brewery only beers with four local CT desserts to create a tasty combination of mouth-watering goodness. Dessert pairings include Tipsy Cones, Donut Crazy, NORA Cupcake and Cannoli's on the Run. Then, on Saturday January 30, Igor Day 2016 takes place at the brewery. It is the one day the rye whiskey barrel aged Imperial stout will be for sale. Sales start at noon and go until the 900 bottles are gone. Harlan Publick is hosting a “Napa Comes to South Norwalk” dinner on Tuesday January 26th. Join Michael Honig of Honig Wine for a one-of-a-kind dinner and learn about the nuances of the wines of the Napa Valley and enjoy hors d'oeuvres and wine during the "Meet & Greet" reception followed by a 4-course wine-paired dinner prepared by Chefs Stephen Lewandowski & Kamal Rose. After 20 years, Barcelona’s Norwalk location is moving to a new space. The restaurant and wine bar’s next chapter will unfold up the street at Waypointe. Barcelona invites its fans to a “last call” at the old location on Saturday January 30. Between 5pm and 2am, they’ll thank guests with surprise guests, delicious food, and wine. Chef Nick Martschenko of the South End and Chef Mogan Anthony of Mura Ramen Gastropub and Locali are joining forces to host a pop-up dinner at SEUncorked on Sunday January 31.
