Bodega’s Fairfield and Darien restaurants now offer “Bodega to-go.”  They now offer takeout menus with dishes cooked to order.  See Darien’s choices here and Fairfield’s here.

Bar Sugo has a NEW HAPPY HOUR!  Monday-Friday from 4-6pm, they offer ½ priced cocktails, beer and wine by the glass, and pizza. 

Winemaker Giorgio Rivetti is coming to Tarry Lodge Westport on Monday February 1 for a 4 course wine dinner highlighting wines from La Spinetta and Contratto wineries.  The event costs $100 per person and reservations can be made by calling the restaurant at (230) 571-1038.  

On Wednesday February 3, Bistro Mediterranean in East Haven is hosting a Spanish wine dinner.  Special guest Juan Carlos Rodriguez from Bodegas Olarra will share wines from his portfolio- include 3 reserve Riojas.  The night costs $55, all inclusive.  Call the restaurant at 203-467-4300 to reserve.

Join Chef Geoff Lazlo for an informal afternoon tea at Mill Street Bar & Table in Greenwich.  On Thursday February 4 at 2pm, he’ll prepare light bites from local ingredients.  It costs $35 per person, and advanced reservations are required.  Call 203-813-3323.

The 8th Annual Chocolate, Dessert & Wine Lover's Evening will be held on Thursday, February 4 at the Stamford Marriott Hotel, located at 243 Tresser Boulevard in Stamford, CT.  Over 70 wineries, artisanal bake shops, restaurants and chocolatiers will showcase some of their best products.  There  will be entertainment, shopping, door prizes and more.

“Grower champagnes” are estate grown and made champagnes.  On Thursday February 4 from 5:30-7pm, Zinc Restaurant in New Haven invites you to a special Grower’s Champagne Tasting Reception.  Gusts can try the bubblies alongside some delicious hors d’oeuvres.  It is $35 per person, all inclusive.  Reserve your seat by calling 203.624.0507 or emailing elizabethciarlelli@zincfood.com.

AMG has announced that their beautiful commercial kitchen can be rented for your next special event.  Up to 18 guests will arrive to a selection of tasty hors d’oevres before creating delicious dishes.  AMG’s professional chefs will focus on the proteins while your group cooks the appetizers, side dishes and dessert.  Conclude the event by enjoying what you’ve cooked!   Be sure to BYOB.

Stony Creek Brewery in Branford is holding its ever Snow Hole BBQ Bowl on Saturday February 6 from 12-3pm!  The outdoor event includes fire pits, BBQ, live music, and of course- beer.  Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door.   

Taste of Hartford continues through February 7.  Hartford’s version of restaurant week offers prix fixe menus from some of the city’s most popular dining spots.  

Tawa Indian Cuisine is now open in its new location!  It can now be found at 487 Glenbrook Road, adjacent to the Glenbrook Train Station.
