Restaurants for Mother’s Day in CT: 2016 Edition

Sunday May 8 is all about Mom! Connecticut restaurants are helping us celebrate the mothers in our lives with prix fixe menus, special a la carte items, buffets, and more. Here are many places serving Mother’s Day meals. Please add more in your comments.

Bernard’s, Ridgefield: Bernard's will serve Mother's Day brunch from 11am-12:30pm and dinner from 1:30-6pm.
Morello, Greenwich: Morello Italian Bistro will offer Mother's Day brunch and dinner from 11am to 9pm.
Harbor Lights, Norwalk: Harbor Lights will offer a 3 course prix fixe menu for $59.99 per person. Kids are welcome as well and their menu is $25.99.
Millwrights, Simsbury: Millwright's in Simsbury has created a 3-course prix fixe menu for Mother's Day. Starters include dishes like a Baby Gem Salad and Smoked Salmon Rillette. Then, choose an entree and dessert.
Vespa, Westport: Vespa in Westport will be hosting their first Mother's Day Brunch. Enjoy a special brunch buffet menu and a Prosecco Bar. It costs $45 per adult, $15 per child, and $20 per adult for the Prosecco Bar.
Cafe on the Green, Danbury: Danbury's Cafe on the Green will have a 4-course prix fixe menu. Choices include rack of lamb, Pappardelle with Lobster and Scallops, Pan Seared Red Snapper, and more.
Mill Street Bar & Table, Greenwich: Open all day beginning at 11am with oysters, signature cocktails, and a new outdoor patio!
Cask Republic, Norwalk, Stamford, New Haven: All of the Cask Republic locations- Norwalk, Stamford, and New Haven, will host a Mother's Day Brunch at their restaurants. Enjoy a special a la carte menu.
Artisan Restaurant, Southport: Southport's Artisan restaurant will have a 3-course prix fixe menu. It costs $65 for adults and $39 for young adults. For $74, adults can enjoy a champagne toast along with the meal.
Rooster Company, Newington: Rooster Company, which opened in Newington about a year and a half ago, has created new menu items to supplement their usual brunch and dinner menus in honor of Mother's Day. Specials include lump crab risotto, pan roasted beef tenderloin and short rib, and more.
South End, New Canaan: South End in New Canaan will be hosting a special Mother's Day Brunch.
Carbone’s, Hartford: Carbone's in Hartford will celebrate mothers all weekend long. Visit them on Saturday or Sunday from 12-6pm for a special menu with dishes like lobster bisque, veal milanese, and semifreddo.
Gingerman, Greenwich: The Gingerman in Greenwich invites you to a Mother's Day Brunch with a special a la carte menu.
Rive Bistro, Westport: Rive Bistro in Wesport will help you honor moms with a special a la carte menu. Whether she wants Escargot and Mushroom Casserole, Filet Mignon Forestiere, or something else, they have you covered.
The Schoolhouse at Cannondale, Wilton: The Schoolhouse at Cannondale, located in Wilton, invites you to Mother's Day brunch and Mother's Day dinner. Brunch will be served as a $35 prix fixe between 9am and 1pm. The first dinner seating will be at 5pm. Dinner includes three courses for $85. The patio will be open weather permitting.
Match Restaurant, Norwalk: Chef Storch serves up all the brunch classics for the mamas.
Roger Sherman Inn, New Canaan: If you're in the New Canaan area, the Roger Sherman Inn will offer a 3-course prix fixe menu. It costs $75 per adult and there is a kids' menu available.
Harbour House, Mystic: Harbour House, situated within the Inn at Mystic, will have a full-fledged brunch buffet. Adults are $45, children 12 and under are $20, and children under 5 are complimentary.
Mohegan Sun Casino, Uncasville: Mohegan Sun Casino will hold a grand Mother's Day brunch in their sprawling Uncas Ballroom. There are three seatings: 10am, 12pm, and 2pm. It is $49 for adults and $25 for kids 12 and under.
Vivo, Hartford: Vivo Seasonal Trattoria is located in the downtown Hartford Marriot. From 11:30am-3pm, join them for an extensive brunch that costs $39 per person.
The Spinning Wheel, Redding: The Spinning Wheel in Redding will serve a Mother's Day buffet. It includes a carving station, breakfast, lunch entrees, salads, dessert, and more. Guests will also receive a complimentary mimosa, bloody mary, or juice. Join them between 10am and 4pm.
Fresh Salt, Saybrook: From 11am to 4:30pm, Fresh Salt at Saybrook Point Inn and Spa will serve a Mother's Day buffet. They'll have a wide array of food, complete with an omelet station. Adults are $49.95, kids from 5-12 are $24.95, and those under 4 are complimentary.
Baldanza, New Canaan: Baldanza Cafe in New Canaan will fete mothers with lots of delicious organic dishes and a complimentary Bellini! They have three sittings available at 11am, 1pm, and 3pm. They are taking advance reservations only. Please call 203-966-4000.
Kensington’s, Norwich: Kensington's, located within the Spa at Norwich Inn, will present a Mother's Day brunch buffet. There will be a bread and pastry display, omelet station, breakfast dishes, soups and salads, a raw bar, carving station, and even a kids' buffet for younger guests. It is $45.95 for adults and $14.95 for children, plus tax and tip.
Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse, Uncasville: At Michael Jordan's Steakhouse in Uncasville, every mother will receive a complimentary mimosa from 12-4pm. They'll also have a special "duo plate" that comes with a range of delicacies for $49.
Riverview Bistro, Stratford: Riverview Bistro in Stratford overlooks the Housatonic River and will provide a scenic background for Mother's Day. They'll have an extensive Mother's Day buffet for $30.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids. Call to reserve.
The Capital Grille, Hartford and Stamford: The Capital Grille, with locations in Hartford and Stamford, has a special Mother's Day brunch menu. They also have a children's brunch menu so the whole family can enjoy.
PEARL at Longshore, Westport: 11:30am - 3:00pm Lou Peragine's solo acoustic performance will make this Mother's Day Brunch memorable.
Outrigger's, Stratford: Outrigger's in Stratford will have a special a la carte menu for the occasion.
The National, Greenwich: Geoffrey Zakarian and The National are offering a special Mother’s Day Prix Fixe Brunch and Mother’s Day À la Carte Dinner that includes a complimentary bouquet of flowers and live jazz at dinner. Brunch is priced at $60 for adults ($30 for children) and includes a choice of entrée and sides for the table.
Napa & Co., Stamford: Napa and Co just announced their Mother's Day Brunch menu that will be served from 11:30-3:00.
