25+ CT Restaurants for Christmas Eve & Christmas Brunch: 2017 Edition

Santa may love milk and cookies, but if you’re craving gourmet prix fixe menus and specialty cocktails this holiday season, Connecticut restaurants have you covered.  These popular places are open on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, or both.  Get the gift of delicious food this Christmas!

1. Washington Prime, Norwalk: Washington Prime's SoNo location will have a Christmas Eve brunch with seatings at 11am, 12:30pm, and 2:15pm. Later, join them for Christmas Eve Dinner at 5pm, 6:45pm, and 8:30pm. They will be closed on Christmas Day.
2. Basso Cafe, Norwalk: Basso Café in Norwalk will have a Christmas celebration on Christmas Eve, December 24. Join them from 5pm onward.
3. Fresh Salt @ Saybrook Point Inn, Saybrook: Fresh Salt at Saybrook Point is open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Christmas Eve brunch will take place from 10:30am-2pm. On Christmas, join them for a special buffet from 11am-5pm.
4. L’escale, Greenwich: L'escale is open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Days. On both days, they will offer a 3 course prix fixe menu for $75 a person.
5. J House, Greenwich: J House in Greenwich is open on Christmas Day for both brunch and dinner. The 3-course prix fixe dinner will last from 5-8pm for $60 per person. Brunch is from 10:30am-2:30pm and is a 2 course prix fixe for $45.
6. elm, New Canaan: elm in New Canaan presents a 3 course prix fixe Christmas Eve menu for $85 per person. Guests can also opt for an additional pasta course with white truffles for a $45 upcharge.
7. The Spread, Norwalk: The Spread will be open for brunch only Christmas Eve, and closed Christmas Day.
8. Cafe on the Green, Danbury: Café on the Green will be open on Christmas Eve, December 24. They will serve a four course prix fixe menu with dishes like Roasted Rack of Lamb and Pan Seared Snapper.
9. Homestead Inn, Greenwich: The Homestead Inn is open on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with special menus.
10. Shell & Bones, New Haven: On Christmas Eve, Shell & Bones in Hew Haven will have their regular a la carte menu along with holiday entrees like Maine Lobster Salad, Paella-style Plaice Fillet, Cioppino, Pomegranate Rack of Lamb, and Fennel Crusted Pork Tomahawk. There will also be wine by the glass and bottle specials.
11. Liv’s Oyster Bar, Old Saybrook: Liv's Oyster Bar in Old Saybrook invites you to Christmas Eve Dinner from 4-8pm.  The regular menu will be available alongside holiday appetizers, entrées, and cocktails. They are closed on Christmas Day.
12. Guilford Mooring, Guilford: For Christmas Eve Brunch, visit Guilford Mooring from11am-2pm. They are closed on Christmas Day.
13. 129 Restaurant, New Canaan:129 Restaurant in New Canaan Regular will be open with regular hours on Christmas Eve. For $75, enjoy a special prix fixe menu or select from a limited a la carte menu.
14. Long Ridge Inn, Stamford: Long Ridge Tavern in Stamford is open from 4-9pm on Christmas Eve and 12-6pm on Christmas Day.
15. Roger Sherman Inn, New Canaan: The Roger Sherman Inn will be open on Christmas Eve. Chef François will prepare seasonal favorites like Roasted Chestnut Soup with Black Truffles and Roasted Christmas Goose Two Ways with Braised Cabbage and Potato Dumplings. The three-course menu is $95 per person.
16. The Mill on the River, South Windsor: Mill on the River in South Windsor is open for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Dinners. They also have a brunch on Christmas Eve from 11am-2pm.
17. The Cook and the Bear, Hartford: The Cook and the Bear in West Hartford will offer a carry out dinner for 4 on Christmas Eve. Choose from ham, pastrami, or both.
18. The Cottage, Westport: The Cottage will be open on Christmas Eve for brunch from 11am-4pm. It is closed on Christmas Day.
19. Market Place Kitchen + Bar, Avon: Market Place in Avon will have a prix fixe menu for Christmas Eve.
20. The Gingerman, Greenwich: The Gingerman invites you to dine on a Xmas Eve special menu. They are closed on December 25.
21. Cask Republic, South Norwalk and Stamford: Cask Republic's South Norwalk location will have a 3 course Christmas Eve prix fixe menu for$40pp, with seatings begin at 5pm. Stamford will offer a 3 course prix fixe Christmas Eve menu for $45pp.
22. Market Place, Woodbury: Market Place in Woodbury will have a 3 course prix fixe Christmas Eve menu for $55 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
23. Conspiracy, Middletown: Conspiracy is open for dinner from 5pm-12am on Christmas Eve, with holiday drink and dessert specials, including mulled wine, egg nog and figgy pudding. They are closed Christmas Day.
24. The Blind Rhino, Norwalk: The Blind Rhino will be open on Christmas starting at 4pm and on Christmas Eve until 6pm- showing all of the NFL games!
25. Peaches, Norwalk: Norwalk's Peaches will have a Christmas Eve Brunch from 11am – 3pm, a la carte.
26. The Irons Restaurant & Bar is open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with menu specials in Mystic, CT.
27. Outriggers, Stratford: After all the hustle and bustle of the holidays, treat yourself to a lovely Christmas Eve brunch at Outrigger's in Stratford from 11:30-3:30. Be sure to check out the loaded Bloody Marys!
28. The Wharf Restaurant at Madison Beach Hotel in Madison, CT is open for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day serving a special a la carte menu staring at dinner December 24 through dinner Christmas Dinner.
29. El Segundo, Norwalk: El Segundo will also do brunch on 24th and close Christmas Day.
30. Cugino's of Farmington is open Christmas Eve with a special menu. Reservations required.
31. The North House in Avon has Christmas dinner with early seating still available!
