On Monday February 27, Little Pub’s Fairfield location will host a SingleCut Beer Dinner. The evening features six courses, such as slow roasted duck and chipotle citrus braised short ribs, alongside six beers. It starts at 7pm and costs $65 per person.

Fortina is invading Match Restaurant! On Monday February 27, the Fortina team will take over the pizza oven and kitchen as Kate Fiore prepares unique cocktails. The “Tropical Invasion” features a menu of tasty small plates, a DJ, and dueling pizza competition.

Craft 260 in Fairfield celebrates its third anniversary on Monday February 27. They are commemorating their debut with a four course beer dinner and beers from five breweries. Tap Rock Beer Bar and Refuge in Farmington hosts a Hartford Flavor Spirits Co Dinner on Wednesday March 1. Dine on plates like Rabbit Agnolotti and Pork Tenderloin alongside local cocktail creations. It runs from 7-10pm and costs $65 per person.

Bridgeport’s Walrus + Carpenter has announced the new “Wet Your Walrus” Club! Enjoy 50 different beers at Walrus + Carpenter and receive a shirt and complimentary growler of your favorite draft brew.

Kids eat free on Thursdays at Bar BQ in Stamford! From 5-10pm, kids 10 and under eat free with the purchase of an adult meal.

Aux Delices has cooking classes for adults and kids this week. Kids ages 8-13 can make “Mostly Mexican” on Sunday March 5 from 4-6pm. On Wednesday March 1, adults can take a technique class on Northern Italian cooking.

A Taste of Black Rock takes place on Saturday March 4 from 7:30-10pm. The event, coordinated by Harry’s, gives participants the chance to sip on assorted beer and wine, food tastings from local restaurants, view art by Joe Provey, and win prizes. Saturday March 4 and Sunday March 5, the Stamford Museum & Nature Center invites you to its Maple Sugar Festival. The weekend festival includes scavenger hunts, face painting, live music, arts and crafts, farm animals, a teen cooking competition, and more. Join them from 11am-3pm.
