40 CT Restaurants for Valentine’s Day 2017

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner!  Cupid is coming to Connecticut restaurants bringing romantic dishes, prix fixe menus, decadent desserts, and cocktail specials.  These places are making sure love is in the air.

1. Shell and Bones, New Haven: Shell & Bones in New Haven invites lovebirds to celebrate with a three course prix fixe menu and a bottle of prosecco for the table for $69 per person.
2. The National, Greenwich: Beginning at 5pm, The National will offer Valentine's Day specials like Black Burgundy Truffles shaves table side.
3. Bernard’s, Ridgefield: Prix fixe Valentine's Day menu from 5-9:30pm. It costs $95 per person.
4. The Whelk, Westport: Located on the water in Westport, The Whelk is a romantic destination. Reserve your seat now for Valentine's Day- they fill up quickly. Call 203-557-0902.
5. Rebecca’s, Greenwich: Special prix fixe 3 course Valentine's Day menu for $149 per person at this classic romantic spot.

8. Ballo Italian Restaurant, Uncasville:At Ballo Italian Restaurant, situated inside Mohegan Sun Casino, Valentine's Day is a multi-day affair. Join them February 11-14 for risotto with shaved black truffle and lobster tails, Valrhona chocolate cake with peanut butter cup gelato, and Banfi Rosa Regale wine
9. Harbor Lights, Norwalk: What's more sultry than Godiva chocolate? Harbor Lights in Norwalk will offer a three course prix fixe dinner with a decadent choice of Godiva desserts.
10. Aspen Restaurant & Bar, Old Saybrook: In addition to their a la carte menu, Aspen Restaurant & Bar in Old Saybrook will serve a 3 course prix fixe menu for Valentine's Day. It costs $55 per person, or $75 per person with wine pairings.
11. L’escale, Greenwich: 3 course prix fixe menu for $75 per person. There will be options to share so you can get cozy with your date.
12. Carbone’s, Hartford:  Valentine's specials like Tenderloin Steak San Domenico, Pan Roasted Halibut, and the Cranberry Kiss Martini.
13. Spa at Norwich Inn, Norwich: Three course dinner for two. It costs $149 per couple, inclusive, and also comes with a complimentary Strawberries and Champagne toast.
14. Sea Catch Restaurant & Raw Bar, Georgetown: Special Valentine’s Day dinner is $65 per person and includes a four-course meal that starts with an appetizer and finishes with a delectable dessert.
15. Liv’s Oyster Bar, Old Saybrook: Oysters are a well-known aphrodisiac, and Live's Oyster Bar in Old Saybrook invites you to dine with them on Valentine's Day. Make a reservation through their website.
16. Bistro Mediterranean & Tapas Bar, Norwalk: Choose an appetizer, an entree, and a dessert for $40 per person. The regular menu will be available as well.
17. Pearl, Westport: Pearl at Longshore will have Valentine's Day specials like Hamachi Crudo, Muscovy Duck Breast, and Shaved Foie Gras
18. J. Gilbert’s, Glastonbury: Open from 3-10pm on Tuesday February 14. Their special menu includes a choice of a 1 lb. lobster tail, an 8 oz. filet Oscar, or a 6 oz. filet with 8 oz. lobster tail served with 2 sides for $60 per person. 
19. Sugar and Olives, Norwalk: Prix fixe dinner party. For $85, enjoy an amuse bouche, five courses, and a cocktail.
20. The Fez, Stamford: Take your date to The Fez in Stamford for a 4-course prix fixe menu with a prosecco for $60 (plus tax & tip). Live music with special guest will set the mood and guests will be entered into a "Dinner for Two" give-away.
21. Homestead Inn, Greenwich: For fine French cuisine and a romantic atmosphere, Homestead Inn has Valentine's Day seatings at 5:45 and 8:45pm.
22. Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, New Haven and Fairfield: Valentine’s Day Special Dishes alongside the regular a la carte menu from February 11-14.
23. Artisan Restaurant, Southport: Feast on a s course prix fixe menu for $75 at Artisan in Southport. Save room for dessert... there are delectable sweet treats to share with your sweetie like the Swan Puff and Passion Fruit Macaroon.
24. Café on the Green, Danbury: Pan-seared red snapper, Pork Osso Bucco, Chocolate Mousse Cake! It's all on the menu at Café on the Green in Danbury. Their 5 course prix fixe is $65 per person.

26. Bloodroot, Bridgeport: Two Valentine's Day seatings, one at 6pm and another at 7:30pm.
27. Washington Prime, Norwalk: Valentine's Day menu with dishes like Colorado Rack of Lamb and Lobster Pancakes.
28. Hoodoo Brown BBQ, Ridgefield: Hoodoo Brown and Black Hog Beer present A Hoodoo & The Hog Valentines Day Beer Dinner! Four courses of BBQ will be paired with tasty brews.
29. Lansdowne Irsh Pub & Music House, Uncasville: On February 14, The Lansdowne Irish Pub & Music House in Mohegan Sun will serve a blackened tilapia salad for $14 and a surf n' turf for $28.
30. Union League Cafe, New Haven: Three course prix fixe Valentine's menu for $79 per person.
31. Capital Grille, Hartford and Stamford: Complimentary champagne and strawberries on Valentine's Day.
32. elm, New Canaan:  prix fixe aphrodisiac menu alongside their a la carte menu
33. The Spread, Norwalk: Chef Carlos Baez will prepare a romantic menu.
34. Michael Jordan’s Steakhouse, Uncasville: "Love Potion 23" four course prix fixe dinner.
35. Cedars Restaurant, Mashantucket: Valentine's Dishes such as Surf n Turf, Broiled Halibut, and Burrata.
36. Riverview Bistro, Stratford: For just $80 per couple, Riverview Bistro in Stratford presents a Valentine's Dinner for Two. It includes a shared appetizer, a salad, an entree, and a shared dessert. Add a bottle of their house wine for $10 more.
37. David Burke Prime, Mashantucket:3 course prix-fixe dinner menu for $95 per person. They will have sultry specials as well, like the Chilled Shellfish Tower for Two and the “Sexy” Oyster Shooter
38. Cavey’s, Manchester: Which is more romantic- Italian or French cuisine? Cavey's in Manchester will present both an Italian Dining Room and a French Dining Room on February 14.
39. SolToro Tequila Grill, Uncasville: They want singles to have fun on Valentine's Day! They will feature a "going solo" Caesar with chipotle aioli and an "on the rebound" poblano, coffee rubbed, and tequila charred rib-eye with tomatoes and pan-fried Spanish rice.
