Flinders Lane, Australian Cuisine, Opens in Stamford via Hey Stamford!

In the ever changing landscape of the Stamford dining scene, there are consistencies: Pizza places, Steak Houses, Italian restaurants, etc.. etc … I’m not complaining. I love it all. But when I have a chance to share news of something a bit different, I get excited. That’s how I feel about Flinders Lane.
Located at 184 Summer Street, Flinders Lane is at the base of Summer House, the Luxury high-rise rental apartments at Stamford Downtown. Owners Chris McPherson and Chris Rendell opened the restaurant a few weeks back, but welcomed friends, family and local business to their Grand opening last night and I was thrilled to be there.
The menu focuses on modern Australian cuisine and as the web site points out, consists of “….a wide array of fresh seafood and a multitude of fruits and vegetables year round combined with the Australian attitude: No fussing, no over thinking, just bold, streamlined food made with the best ingredients available and a laser focus on flavor.”
