The Place 2 Be and Dondero Orchards brunch will now take place on November 3.  Brunch will be held from 12:30-3pm, and 10% of the proceeds will go to the benefit of Hartford’s Camp Courant. 

Check out an assortment of CT brewers under one roof at the 5th Annual Connecticut Brewers Fest!  It takes place at Two Roads on Monday November 5.  $30.00 gets you a glass and unlimited three oz pours of some of the best beer the Nutmeg State has to offer.  A portion of the proceeds from the fest will benefit the Connecticut Craft Brewers Guild. 

On Monday November 5, West Hartford Magazine hosts Best of West Hartford 2018 at Fleming’s Steakhouse.  See who won the awards while dining on tasty food from Flemings.  Tickets start at $25. 

The Spotted Horse Tavern in Westport now has Meatless Mondays!  Visit them for delicious vegetarian options.

Stew Leonards Newington will have a “Warm and Cozy Culinary Class for Toddlers” on Tuesday November 6.  Kids ages 2-5 can make chicken pot pie soup, cheesy pull apart bread, and pan-fried caramelized bananas with a homemade whipped topping. 

On Wednesday, November 7, B.GOOD will roll out a better-for-you spin on a hearty cold-weather classic: the Eggplant Meatball Sub.  The sub will feature B.GOOD’s signature eggplant meatballs, parmesan, marinara sauce, peppers and onions on a toasted baguette.

Every Wednesday at Walrus + Carpenter, get an eight-piece bucket of fried chicken with four biscuits for $25. Pair it with the Two-For-Two Roads deal and get two Two Roads Brewing brews in the can or on tap for the price of one.

Chop Shop Cooking classes continue on Wednesday November 7 with “Back to the Sea.”  The menu includes Shrimp Quesadillas with Cilantro Pesto, Tuna Sliders with Wasabi Aioli, Miso Glazed Salmon, and Grilled Halibut.  http://www.chopshopcooking.com/ 

On Thursday November 8, Stewarts Wine & Spirits in New Canaan hosts winemaker David Rossi.  Visit them to try some of his single vineyard premium Pinot Noirs.

The Connecticut BBQ Festival comes to Clinton Crossings Premium Outlets on Saturday November 10.  There will be gourmet BBQ from restaurants and food trucks, beer, Wine, cider, and bourbon.  Activities include a bacon eating contest, live music, a kids zone, arcade games, fireworks, and more. 

From one of the producers of the Blues Views and BBQ Festival comes Supper & Soul, a downtown dinner and concert series in Westport.  The Nashville-inspired event takes place on Saturday November 10 and features Kasey Tyndall.

Green & Tonic in Westport has launches a new café menu.  Visit them for avocado toasts, new salads, and warm grain bowls.
