26+ Restaurants, Sports Bars, & Caterers for 2018 Football Season in CT

Ready, set, hike!  Get out your jerseys… football season is here and it’s time for you to root for your favorite team.  These Connecticut restaurants, bars, and caterers are serving up specials and take-out options or you to enjoy during the season.  These dishes will leave foodies yelling “touchdown!” Don’t see your favorite sports bar or restaurant here? 1. The Blind Rhino, Norwalk & Black Rock: The Blind Rhino is the hotspot for watching sports events. TVs surround the bar and restaurant. They are known for their wings and craft brews, but they have other tasty eats on the menu as well.

2. Fortina, Stamford: Fortina in Stamford will offer discounted food and drinks during football season on Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday. Plus, wear your jersey and get a complimentary famous rays or margherita pizza.

3. The Irons, Mystic: Head to the Irons in Mystic for football on Sundays. Starting at 1pm, they'll have $5 Burgers, 20 Wings for $20 , $3 Sam Adams Drafts, and other game time specials.

4. Murphy’s Pub, Newtown: Murphy's has NFL Football Specials on Sundays. Check them out for $2.50 Bud Light Drafts, $1 Off All Other Taps, and an open mic at 7pm.

5. Bradford’s Grill & Tavern, Stamford: At Bradford's, there are gametime specials ALL DAY Sunday. Join them for $5 football snacks, wing and pint packages, beer buckets, and more.

6. Dinosaur BBQ, Stamford: Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford has the NFL Sunday ticket.

7. Brother Jimmy’s, Stamford: Brother Jimmy's in Stamford has 25 HD TV’s for your viewing pleasure! On Sundays, they have a $5 "kick the keg" pre-game tailgate starting at 11:30am and going through kickoff. On Mondays, take advantage of $20 per person game special that includes bud light draft, hot wings, and rib tips.

8. The Beer Collective, New Haven: The Beer Collective in New Haven will offer special drinks on Sundays during football season.

9. SolToro, Mohegan Sun: During each New England Patriot game, SolToro, located in Mohegan Sun, will be serving special game day specials including Baked Chihuahua Fundida, Wings, and Pulled Pork Sliders.

10. Stew Leonard’s, Danbury, Norwalk, Newington: Feed your football friends with Stew Leonard's game day packages. Their catering specials have the essentials.

11. J Timothy’s Tavern, Plainville: J. Timothy's Tavern has legendary wings. Enjoy them there, or order them to have at home.

12. Wings Over Fairfield, Fairfield: Wings Over Fairfield serves up tasty wings (and other menu items) and will even deliver so you don't have to miss a second of the game.

Guilford Mooring, Guilford: During football seasons on Sundays from 1pm-close, Guilford Mooring will be running the following specials to enjoy the game on one of their 7 televisions: $3 Domestic Bottles, select $4 Drafts, $5 Obikwa Sauvignon Blanc, $5 Honero Vera Garnacha, a rotating featured football cocktail, $1 Buffalo Wings, Steak and Cheese Eggrolls 2 for $7, Edamame Potstickers 4 for $7, and a rotating Football Sandwich.

14. Sports Haven Bar & Grill, New Haven: Four 90″ flat screens highlight the space at Sports Haven Bar & Grill in New Haven. They have football specials Saturday & Sunday

20. Coalhouse Pizza, Stamford: At Coalhouse Pizza in Stamford, you can watch NFL Sunday Ticket, Redzone, and the NFL Network on 20 flat screen TVs. They also offer half-priced wings and draft specials.
