The Oyster Club in Mystic presents “Holiday Cocktail Night” on Thursday, December 20 from 7-9pm.  The mixologists behind their cocktail program invite you to their holiday cocktail tasting invite you to an evening of hors d’oeuvres, holiday cocktails, and an Oyster Club cocktail recipe book! 

Join the party at The Chelsea on December 18th as Chef Eric Felitto (The Chelsea, Tasty Yolk), battles it out on Food Network's Chopped.  Starting at 8PM. Chef Felitto is parking the Tasty Yolk food truck outside The Chelsea for the evening, and guests will enjoy FREE nibbles from both The Chelsea & Tasty Yolk from 8-9PM. Max a Mia in Avon hosts its annual Feast of the Seven Fishes this week.  Tickets are still available for Monday December 17 at 6:15pm and Tuesday December 18 at 6:30pm.

Stew Leonard’s Famous Holiday Workshop for Toddlers will be held on December 18 at 9:30am.  Each child will roll, bake, and decorate three kinds of cookie dough to take home.  Classes will be held in Stew Leonard’s Executive Kitchen on the second floor of the grocery store in Newington.  Please register in advance.

On Wednesday December 19, Chop Shop Cooking will have a “Holiday Bites” class.  The menu will include Pancakes with Sour Cream & Salmon Caviar, Crabcakes with Rosy Fruit Salsa & Tartar Sauce , Shrimp Dumplings with Peanut Sauce, Cucumber Cups with Feta, Olives & Roasted Peppers, and Smoked Duck Tarts with Caramelized Onions.  http://www.chopshopcooking.com/ 

Go Fish in Mystic continues its wine series with “Big Bold Reds” on December 19.  It is $32 per person and starts at 5:30pm.

Beer lovers take note: Hop Haus in Southington will have a Clown Shoes beer dinner on December 20.  Chef Jakub Gorgon has created a farm-to-table menu to complement the brews.  It is $69 per person. 

Our House in SoNo hosts a Christmas Ugly Sweater Party on Friday December 21.  The evening will include eggnog, snacks, reindeer games, and more.

Gabriele’s of Greenwich has two new menus – an updated main menu and a new lite bites menu. The updated main menu looks back to Gabriele’s classic dishes, but also includes several new entrants.
