The special offering will be available Tuesday - Thursday all Summer long.Summer Soiree Dinners with Chef Geoff Lazlo continue on August 9 at Millstone Farm. Dinners will start at 6pm with a cocktail hour featuring a signature cocktail infused with herbs from the farm and passed hors d’oeuvres. Then, a three course dinner will be served family style while guests dine al fresco. Rosedale Farms & Vineyards presents “BBQ, Bluegrass & Brews” on August 9 from 6:30 - 9:30pm. The evening begins with a reception. Next, head out for a tour of the farm. The evening concludes with an al fresco dinner cooked from scratch with ingredients sourced daily from local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen. The theme is BBQ, prepared on the farm by Max’s Oyster Bar’s Executive Chef Hunter Morton. Tickets are $99. August 6 is “Silly Circus Day Camp for Kids” at Stew Leonards Newington. Join them as they prepare circus treats like homemade salted pretzels, snow cones, corn dogs, fried Oreos, and cotton candy milkshakes! A complimentary snack will be provided. Ages 6-12. Visit Ambler Farm Saturdays from 9:30 – Noon for “Family Saturdays,” a free event. Play with the animals and have your questions answered knowledgeable student apprentices. All that fun can stir up quite the appetite! Stick around for mouth-watering watermelon on the house (or farm rather) available around 10:30am each Saturday.On Thursday August 9, Fairfield Cheese Company and Wakeman Town Farm are teaming up “Ricotta Making: Celebrating Summer's Bounty.” They’ll teach you how to make ricotta and pair it with wine and seasonal produce. It costs $75 per person and runs from 7-9pm. Wakeman Town Farm also invites families to the farm on Saturdays. From 9:30-10:30am, kids can watch Farmer Corey feed and train the animals. Chat with a knowledgeable master gardener between 11am and 1pm. Stop by the wonderful organic farm stand, open every Saturday from 10-2.Division West Bistro & Bar serves Happy Hour weekdays from 4-7pm. Visit them at the bar for food and drink specials.The Shoreline Wine Festival returns August 11 from 12-7 and 12 from 12-6pm!
