On Tuesday September 25, Washington Prime in SoNo welcomes Flora Springs for a Napa Valley Wine Dinner.  5 courses will be paired with complementary wines from the estate.  It costs $95 person and the night begins at 7pm. 

Taproot Restaurant is now offering “dinner and a movie” Tuesday-Thursday.  Show them your movie ticket and they’ll offer you a $30 prix fixe menu with an appetizer, entrée, dessert, and popcorn.  The new promotion starts at 5pm.

Who knew you could make oysters TWELVE ways?!  On Thursday September 27, Chef Carlos Baez of the Spread will be serving Oysters 12 ways with a portion of the proceeds bring donated to the Norwalk Harbor Keeper.  The menu includes Oyster Sliders with spicy remoulade, Japanese style shooters, Oyster Chowder, BBQ Grilled Oysters, and more.  Reservations are highly recommended.

Chop Shop Cooking has announced its fall/winter cooking class schedule! 

Gail Simmons of Top Chef and Iron Chef Canada is coming to Westport!!  On Thursday September 27, she is journeying to Terrain to mingle over cocktails and make recipes from her new cookbook, Bringing It Home.  A $65 ticket includes a cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, and a signed book. 

On Wednesday September 26, The Shoppes at Farmington Valley in Canton invites you to a Sip & Shop.  A $10 donation to Gifts of Love gets you access to all six wine spots located throughout the center from 6-7:30pm, a food and wine tasting in the courtyard from 7:30-9pm, and exclusive discounts. 

Tigin in Stamford has announced a beer dinner with Two Roads on September 26. Five beers will be paired with four courses for $50 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

ARTISAN Restaurant, Tavern and Garden in West Hartford will officially celebrate its one year anniversary on Thursday September 27.  They are celebrating with a White Party from 5-7pm. Tickets are $29 per person and include passed hors d'oeuvres and drinks, an anniversary cake, cappuccinos and espressos from Formal Indulgence by the Signorellos, and music by DJ Connie Carmona. 

The annual Greek Fest at the Church of the Archangels in Stamford will take place rain or shine on Thursday September 27 from 5-10pm, Friday September 28 from 5-11pm, Saturday September 29 from 12-11pm, and Sunday September 30 from 12-7pm.  In addition to Greek fare that includes souvlaki, pastitsio, moussaka, lamb, spanakopita and lemon roasted chicken and a variety of delicious, homemade Greek pastries, this year’s event includes a variety of vendors and carnival rides.  Admission is free with food, activities, and drinks available for purchase indoors.  https://www.stamfordgreekfest.com/

On Thursday, September 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, the Bruce Museum in Greenwich will host its first-ever Oktoberfest celebration. Featuring German beer from Paulaner USA, Oktoberfest at the Bruce Museum will also include a light menu of classic German fare from Harlan Haus and a German band performing traditional Oktoberfest music.

The Big Chocolate Show is returning for its third year to New York City from Friday September 28-Sunday September 30.  The event will feature more than 200 chocolatiers, artisans, chefs, authors and experts from around the world offering tastings, live demos, book signings, master classes and more.  In addition to family friendly activities, there will be specific 21+ events as well.  The event’s charitable partner this year – Cookies for Kids’ Cancer – will also be on-site selling their cookies.  http://bigchocolateshow.com/

The Last Taste of Summer - A Craft Beer Tasting Event takes place on Saturday September 29 at Roger Sherman Park in Greenwich.  The event will feature craft beer tasting, live music, exhibitors and food trucks from 1- 4:30pm.  General Admission Tickets are $45 and VIP Tickets are $75. 

This year, the Harbor Brew Fest is taking place at a new location. Find it at Fowler Field in Milford on September 29.

OktoBEERfest In The Park, presented By Half Full Brewery, will take place on September 29 at Mill River Park in Stamford. The festival features food trucks, a pop-up beer garden, and live music.

The Friends of Fairfield Public Library is pleased to announce the second annual Fairfield Food Truck Festival.  It will be held at Jennings Beach in Fairfield on Sunday September 30 from 12-6pm.  All proceeds benefit the Fairfield Public Library’s initiatives and programs. Admission is $5 per person, children age 12 and under free. Free parking at the beach. The food trucks will charge their usual rates.

Rothbard Ale + Larder's annual Oktoberfest is Saturday, September 29. They'll be serving authentic German beers and dishes alongside games and live music all day long.

Kinsmen Brewing Company in Milldale is taking their Oktoberfest celebration outside this year. Visit them on September 29, when a $60 gets you food, drink, a commemorative glass, music, and beer.
