Features Taste Of Fairfield Photo Gallery Photo Recap: The Taste of Fairfield Thrilled Guests w/ 50+ Tastings Jessica Ryan October 16, 2019 This past Sunday, on arguably the most beautiful day of the season so far, the Fourth Taste of Fairfield took place at Southport's Delamar Hotel. Under a massive tent, the sold out event greeted happy foodies of all ages. This year saw many newcomers who not only brought their A-Game but elevated this year's "tastes," raising the food bar to whole new level. As the food was served, the libations flowed, complementing the many mouth watering bites!New this year, a special VIP Preview Hour took place from Noon to 1:00 PM for VIP ticket holders, enabling them to get a sneak peak (and first dibs!) on all food and drink.Brick Walk Tavern, a newcomer to the Fairfield restaurant scene made its debut, as did Forza Ristorante, Playa Bowls of Fairfield, Nordic Fish, Pizza Truck Company, Puerto Vallarta, Whiskey Barrel and The Blind Rhino. Other favorites such as Little Pub, Geronimo, Rive Bistro, SoNo Baking Company, Fred06825, Hub & Spoke were on hand dishing out crowd favorites. This year saw a record number of spirits, with Josh Wines, Kindred Spirits & Wine, Links Drinks Transfusion, Litchfield Distillery, Cylinder Vodka Inc, Diageo, Fairfield Craft Ales, Fifth State Distillery, Two Roads Brewing, Whiskey Barrel.Fairfield Moms was on hand at the kids area with sweet treats and food, a bounce house, entertainment, a take-home craft from AR Workshop, face-painting, and more while adults enjoyed the live music from Ellis IslandThis year's Taste of Fairfield benefited and showcased their charity partner, the Norma Pfreim Breast Center, now celebrating their 20th year.TownVibe and Fairfield Magazine publisher Geoffrey Morris believes that “Good things happen when people connect over good food,” and we certainly agree!If you were unable to make this event, mark your calendars for Sunday, January 27th for Taste of Fairfield Winterfest!
