Chefs Jeff Taibe (Taproot), Lucas Proud (The Redding Roadhouse) and Rob Haidar (Taproot) are collaborating on a menu that will highlight both fresh vegetables and those they were able to preserve from the Farm. Additional ingredients and proteins will be sourced locally as well. The ticket price includes beer and wine, gratuity, and the multi-course meal, with proceeds going straight to the farm! Tis the season for whiskey and Que Whiskey Kitchen in Southington invites you to a Sazerac Whiskey Dinner on Monday December 16. The meal includes five courses with accompanying cocktails. AND it includes Pappy Van Winkle 15! Tickets are $89 per person. Max a Mia in Avon has multiple seatings for their annual Feast of the Seven Fishes this week. Join them December 16, 17, or 18. The evening starts with a reception at 6:15 and continues with a five course meal. It is $85 per person. Millstone Farm is now taking orders for their heritage breed pork shares! This year, they raised cross-bred Tamworth and Berkshire pigs on pasture at the farm. The cost for a share is $125. Stew's Famous Holiday Cookie Workshop at Stew Leonard's in Newington returns on December 18. On the menu: white chocolate gingerbread cookies, and festive Christmas sugar cookies! Ages 2+.
