Wilton Restaurant Week returns March 11 – 17.  Restaurants located in and around Wilton are serving up special prix fixe menus and other culinary selections.  Participants include Bernard’s of Ridgefield, Oak and Almond, Parlor Restaurant, and more. 

EAT RAMEN!! During the month of March, Mecha Noddle Bar is donating 50 cents from every bowl of ramen to Food Rescue US - whose mission is to reduce hunger and food waste throughout the United States. Every dollar raised= 9 meals. Their goal is $5,000 (or 10,000 bowls of ramen) for the month.

Bistro on Main is delighted to announce a fundraiser dinner, with all proceeds to benefit Interval House, on March 11th at 6 pm.  Interval house provides often life altering assistance for men, women, and children fleeing domestic violence.  The 4 course meal is $85 per person. 

Carbone’s Kitchen, located at 6 Wintonbury Mall in Bloomfield, has launched three special weeknight menus that will run through the end of June.  Join them for “Delicious Monday,” Tuesday “Prince Spaghetti Night,” and Wednesday “Franklin Ave Lasagna Night.”  Each meal is a 3 course prix fixe menu for $25, plus tax and gratuity.

Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, with locations in Fairfield and New Haven, is showing their appreciation by offering a complimentary Geronimo Margarita to people in specific fields.  On March 13, they will recognize Doctors and Legal Assistants.

Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill, located on the waterfront in the historic City Point area of New Haven, will be donating 10% of all food sales from the day to Friends of the New Haven Animal Shelter on March 13.

AMG Catering hosts a St. Patty’s Day Cooking Class on Wednesday March 13 from 7-9pm.  Make James whiskey “sliders’ with Guinness cheese sauce and caramelized onions, Guinness mac and cheese, and Jameson apple crisp. 

Wednesday nights are Vegan Nights at Quattro Pazzi in Stamford.

Please note that The Restaurant at Rowayton Seafood  will be closed for “Winter Refresh Renovationss” from March 11-13.  They will re-open for dinner March 14.

L’escale hosts a wine dinner on Thursday March 14 at 6:30pm.  The 5 course meal focuses on Domaines Barons de Rothschild.  It costs $125 per person and seating is limited.

The 3rd Annual Cheers For Charity Pub Crawl benefiting Hand Help will take place on Saturday March 16.  This fundraiser is a fun-filled event that includes restaurants and bars in the Greater New Haven area for free drinks and food--benefiting Hand Help's pediatric surgery missions!  Participants include Ordinary, 116 Crown, and More. 

On March 17, Tim’s Kitchen at Wakeman Town Farm invites you to “Winter Soups for the Soul: Four Soups, One Base.”  Chef Genee Habansky will show you how to make classic chicken broth base and turn it into four wonderful winter soups.  Tickets are $65. 

On Sunday March 17, learn the ancient craft of Ukrainian egg decorating at Ambler Farm! Made using a wax batik method, Pysanky is a form of folk art that incorporates different symbols and shapes that are brightly and intricately colored. This is an adult/young adult program. Minimum age required to participate is 9 years old (due to use of hot wax).  It runs from 2-4pm and costs $20 per person.
