Great Tunes, Great Food, Family Fun at 12th Annual Blues & Views Festival!

The banks of the Saugatuck River will once again be filled with cool tunes and smiling faces this Labor Day weekend when the Blues & Views Festival returns to Westport for the 12th consecutive year.  Concert days are Saturday 8/31 and Sunday 9/1.

Blues & Views Festival has always had a great collection of food trucks and that tradition continues.  Great food trucks from across the Northeast will be on hand including:

BobbyQ’s Cue and Company (Norwalk) – Barbecue

Rory’s (Darien) – Lobster Rolls, Burgers and more

Trolley Dogs (Boston) – Giant Gourmet Hot Dogs

The Mac Factor (Upstate NY)  -- Mac and Cheese

Meltmobile (Stamford) – Grilled Cheese

Greek Style Grill (Norwalk) – Gyros

Micalizzi’s (Bridgeport) -- Italian Ice and Ice Cream

On the snacky side of things, visitors can enjoy Jerky (Field Trip) and Kettle Corn (Monroe, CT) and more.

The festival is returning to its hometown roots with a smaller footprint and smokin’ tunes at a great value. Attendees will see and hear some of the best blues, soul, rock and funk artists in the business including Anders Osborne, Lawrence, Neville Jacobs, The Main Squeeze, Flow Tribe, High & Mighty Brass Band, Southern Avenue, The Commonheart, Kat Wright, The National Reserve, Jake Kulak and the Lowdown, and Fairfield’s School of Rock, all on the stage of Westport’s Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.

In addition to all the awesome food, families will enjoy bouncy amusements, face painting, slime table and other arts and crafts for kids.

Tickets to JESUP JAM at the Westport Library parking lot and LEVITT LIVE access to the Main Stage in the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts sold separately.  Kids 12 and under free. Rain or Shine.

A portion of the proceeds from the Blues & Views festival will go to Staples Tuition Grants and Wakeman Town Farm.  For tickets and information, please visit www.BluesViewsCT.com.
