Frank Pepe Pizzeria Debuts NEW Meatball and Ricotta Pizza!

Breaking Pizza News! It’s not often that the legendary Connecticut-based Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana debuts a new pizza, so when this classic New Haven-style, coal-fired pizzeria does, it’s a really big deal. Pepe’s has recently started serving its latest master piece, the Meatball and Ricotta pizza crafted with 100% all natural meatballs, ricotta cheese, crushed Italian tomatoes, mozzarella, grated pecorino Romano and drizzled with olive oil.

With lines out the door on a daily basis at several of its 11 locations (soon to be 12) throughout the Northeast, particularly the original restaurant in New Haven, Pepe’s has developed a cult following (but we don’t need to tell you this). The famous Pepe’s pizzas are made from scratch with the freshest ingredients and then cooked in a coal-fire oven between 800 and 900 degrees which gives the pizza the signature crispy yet chewy, delicious crust.

If your nearest Pepe’s get slammed busy, go stand in line, or do the smart thing and show up early. Either that or plan an obscure 3 p.m. lunch.  Get there. Like now!
