Harbor Point is one of Stamford’s fastest growing neighborhoods.  Visit your favorite Harbor Point restaurant during Harbor Point Restaurant Week, which begins February 17 and runs through February 23. Participating restaurants will offer a three-course prix fixe meal with special menu items for either lunch, dinner or brunch. 

Meanwhile, all of Stamford hosts its Winter Restaurant Weeks from February 17 through March 1.  Participating Downtown Stamford restaurants are serving up special lunch & dinner prix fixe menus in several different price options. The prices for lunch range from $14.20 or $20.20 and dinner ranges from $28.20 or $38.20. Stamford Restaurant Weeks are presented by Stamford Tables & Stamford Downtown. 

Continuum Distilling is Connecticut’s newest distillery that is dedicated to producing exceptional spirits utilizing patented green practices and ingredients to reuse and repurposeAttend a grand opening party at its new Waterbury tasting room on Saturday, February 22 from 2-8pm and Sunday, February 23 from 12-5pm.  Working with craft beer partners across New England, the company is amongst the first in the world to recoup “trimmings” from the beer brewing process that are typically disposed of and repurpose these ingredients as the foundation for its spirits to create a high quality product with unique flavor notes and textures. 

Out of school and looking for some wintry fun in the great outdoors?  Children ages 3-7 can head to the New Canaan Nature Center for their Winter Break Program from February 18-21.  Partake in nature games, crafts & activities. 

Voyage Month continues at L’escale by highlighting the flavors of Hungary from February 17-23.  Enjoy a 2-course prix fixe lunch for $25.20 or a 3-course dinner for $45.20.

From February 20- 23, Black Rock is getting a little bit country! Walrus, BRYAC, and The Acoustic have teamed up to host 10 amazing country and western acts over the 4 day festival. 

Damilano is one of the oldest wineries in Barolo, dating back to 1890, when Giuseppe Borgogno started cultivating grapes and producing wine from his own vineyards.  Taste their wines alongside a carefully prepared dinner menu on February 20 at MAX Downtown in Hartford.  Tommy Cuni, the National Sales Director from Damilano, will be there to guide you through the pairings.  This is the chance to taste the newly released 2018 Arneis and 2017 Langhe Nebbiolo, as well as several vintages of outstanding Barolos. 

Enjoy Mardi Gras at The Hops Company on Friday, February 21 starting at 6pm.  It’s Mardi Gras weekend and they will be celebrating with an ice luge, drink specials, prizes, giveaways and DJ.

Guilford Mooring will be hosting a Dueling Piano Show & Dinner on Friday, February 21.  Doors open at 7:00pm for a 7:30pm prix-fixe dinner and 8:30pm show.  Featuring two local top piano entertainers, Dave Lefkin and Mark Scortino, the all-request, rock-and-roll party lets the guests pick the music playlist, mixed in with comedy.  Singing and Dancing along is encouraged!  The four-course menu includes choice of appetizer, soup or salad, entrée’ and dessert.  Tickets are $60 per person (excluding tax and gratuity).  Reserve your space by calling 203.458.2921. 

Celebrate National Margarita Day on February 22nd with $5 Patrón Tequila margaritas at participating Norwalk restaurants and bars during the Norwalk Now Margarita Crawl!  Participants include El Segundo, Peaches, Evarito’s, Il Posto, and more.

On February 22, Basso Café in Norwalk invites you to Celebrate National Margarita Day the Mediterranean Way! They’ll put a Mediterranean Twist on the cocktail and Chef Renato will be offering his delicious Basso Med Tacos.  (Please note that they close between 2:30 and 5 on Saturdays.) 

Walrus + Carpenter’s 6th Annual Johnny Cash Birthday Bash returns February 22. Come celebrate Johnny Cash's 88th Birthday and his music over Walrus’s signature BBQ and libations.  Hitch & The Giddyup will be the house band for the evening and joined by other special guests. 

Head to Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill for Margarita Day on 2/22.  Try the “Shrimp Blue Corn Tlayuda,” a street snack that looks similar to a Pizza, but is made with a large housemade tortilla that is cooked on a Comal or a charcoal or wood fire grill.  Sip on the “Mezcal Sandia” ($11), which is made with Fendencio Classico Mezcal, Watermelon-infused Tequila, Fresh Lime Juice, and Agave and finished with a Chimayo rim.  

Outriggers in Stratford is now open for its annual January renovations.  It is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays).

MJ23 Sports Bar & Grill, an elevated sports bar and grill serving up contemporary American cuisine, with one of the top sports-viewing experiences in Connecticut, is now open at Mohegan Sun. The 7,449 square foot space which includes a 35-seater bar will be able to accommodate large groups, provide delicious twists on American bar classics, and bring together sports fans for memorable game-watching experiences in an energizing environment with 13 big screens and five large projection TVs.
