Wednesday February 26 marks the final installation of The Schoolhouse at Cannondale’s Plant-based dinner series. The 4 course menu costs $48 and is a tasty way to “veg” out. Make your reservation online.

CT Eats Week lasts from February 24-March 1. CT EATS WEEK is the ONLY statewide restaurant week in Connecticut. Restaurants from communities all across the state will participate during this week long celebration. Over 150 restaurants are participating, including Brick + Wood (Fairfield), Engine Room (Mystic), Cactus Rose (Wilton), GZen (Branford), and more.

On Monday February 24, learn all about “Becoming a Sustainable Bartender.” Gyph, the world’s first molecular whiskey, and Highland Imports, are teaming up for this workshop, which sill take place at Hub & Spoke. In this workshop, host Claire Sprouse will provide bartenders with the skills to identify and reduce the waste created from making cocktails and other specialty drinks.

Head to Artisan Restaurant in Southport for a dinner featuring the beautiful wines of Frank Family Vineyards, located in Napa Valley on Monday 2/24. It starts at 6:30pm and costs $95 per person. Call 203-307-4222 to reserve.

The Winter Cooking Series: Seasonal Sustainability continues at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center on Monday February 24. Join the Chef Team from Terrain Cafe and Amis Trattoria, Westport for a six week teaching and tasting culinary journey as they share creative, delicious recipes and stylish presentations. This week, Regional Pastry Chef Marina White will teach you to make a Spiced Persimmon and Honey Tart.

Tuesday February 25th is Fat Tuesday. Starting at 5pm, celebrate at The Spread with live music and a Fat Tuesday Menu curated by Executive Chef Carlos Baez! Specials include Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo, Crawfish Étouffée, Blackened Alligator Nuggets, Catfish Po’ Boy, Oyster Sliders, Stuffed Jalapeños, and King Cake N’awlins.

Meanwhile at El Segundo, on February 25, Taco and Fat Tuesday collide as N’awlins flair comes crashing into El Segundo! Join us for a special Fat Taco Tuesday with food and drink specials PLUS all you can eat tacos all day for $16.

Mystic Cheese CO and Beerd Brewing Company are teaming up on Tuesday February 25 for a night of pairing. Tickets are available online and cost $45 per person.

Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce (WWCC) and The Westport Library are pleased to announce their next event in this season’s Supper & Soul series. The event will be held on Saturday, February 29. The Leap Year night will be capped off by a concert with the dynamic John Nemeth at the Forum of the newly-renovated Library following dinners at various restaurants throughout Downtown Westport.
