Three local distilleries have shifted gears to help the community in the wake of the COVID-19 crisis. SoNo 1420, Litchfield Distillery and Fifth State Distillery are now manufacturing FDA approved hand sanitizer. SoNo 1420 and Litchfield are giving theirs away for FREE (some rules apply based on priority for high risk individuals), and Fifth State can be purchased in large 750 ml bottles for $35. (Bonus: Fifth State has a version that smells like the best Gin & Tonic you've ever had.) Visit their social media accounts for the most up to date information about availability and pick up.

Sono 1420, South Norwalk

SoNo 1420 in South Norwalk has created WHO and FDA approved hand sanitizer. The hand-sanitizer is FREE and can be picked up @sono1420 located at 19 Day Street in South Norwalk. Please simply pull up to the distillery and they will bring the bottles out to you.

If you have your own clean containers under 5oz you'd like them to fill, they would be happy to do so!
While you’re there, you might as well stock up on their @wevodka and any other spirits you’ve been wanting to try.  sono1420.com

Fifth State Distillery, Bridgeport

Fifth State Distillery is now offering the following Hand Wash products:

140-proof Ethanol Hand Wash, non-scented. 750 ml - $35

130-proof Hand Wash scented with Gin Botanicals, 750 ml for $35 (smells like the best Gin & Tonic you've ever had!)

While supporting its local and loyal customers, Fifth State is also supplying product to local hospitals, nursing homes, shelters, government offices and employees.

Litchfield Distillery, Litchfield

Litchfield Distillery has suspended normal operations to manufacture FREE hand sanitizer to essential businesses and high-risk individuals. Hand Sanitizer will be distributed by the LOADING DOCK at the distillery. This is toward the back of our parking lot.

Spirit sales are still available at their main entrance door. One person will be allowed to enter at a time, please be patient and don't be offended if we ask you to apply hand sanitizer.

- For larger organizations (like fire departments, medical offices, etc.) it would be helpful if you can bring containers for us to fill as packaging continues to be in short supply. Large 32 oz. spray bottles are ideal.

- For high-risk individuals, we are only providing 4 ounces at this time.

- Washing your hands for 20 seconds with hot water and soap is preferred method is you are at home. Don't waste hand sanitizer if you have access to a sink and soap.

- Please check social media for updates before coming or calling the distillery.

Thank you for your assistance and support. #spiritofhardwork
