18+ Places for Cinco de Mayo: Virtual Parties, Margaritas, Takeout, and More!

We may be stuck inside, but Connecticut restaurants and caterers are helping us travel south of the border with their Cinco de Mayo packages! Some places like Bartaco and Wakeman Town Farm are bringing the fiesta into your home with virtual events while others are offering delicious cuisine and all the fixings to make your own margaritas! 116 Crown, New Haven: Preorder your taco and margarita kits online at 116 Market and pick them up on Tuesday, May 5 between 2pm - 6pm.

Agave Grill, Hartford: Offering special Fiesta Boxes for Cinco de Mayo!  Plus, don’t forget about their make your own taco and margarita kits.

AMG Catering, Westport: Their Cinco de Mayo package includes guacamole and chips, chicken empanadas, a steak fajita skillet, yellow rice and beans, deconstructed street corn, and Mexican hot chocolate spiced cookies. It serves 4 and costs $160.

Bartaco, Hartford, Westport, & Stamford: Bartaco will be offering cinco de mayo kits in two types, a veggie and carne kit with an additional option for margarita carafes. In addition to kits, they will be throwing a digital party via @bartacolife Instagram live streams that will include a yoga class, food demo, margarita class, a fitness class, and more to spice up the day at home. The official schedule should be unveiled shortly and all updates will be available on @bartacolife on Instagram.

Bodega Taco Bar, Darien & Fairfield: Both restaurants will be open 12-10 on Cinco for curbside pick-up. The take-out menu features all of the Bodega greatest hits plus the Bodega Family Pack (enough Guac, Tacos and Sides for 4 people)! Guests are encouraged to call and pre-order their family pack asap as they will be limited. Really get the party going with the BODEGARITA KIT! Michael will be doing a zoom demo at 5pm to benefit Corbin Cares which has provided hundreds of first responder meals. 

Brasitas, Stamford: They’re serving up 5 days of margarita specials starting this Friday, 5/1! Every day try one of their make-your-own margarita kits, which are 32 oz and serve 4

Culinary Works, New Canaan & Stamford: On SATURDAY MAY 2 they are partnering with Filling in the Blanksfor a virtual Cinco de Mayo Cooking & Cocktails fundraising event. The Mexican-themed cooking & cocktails class will feature three of Culinary Works’ signature recipes along with a demonstration on how to make the perfect margarita from Wagon Wheel Fine Wines & Spirits. All registrants will receive an advance copy of the recipes that will be prepared that evening so they can follow along at home. Interested participants are asked to make a $75 donation to Filling in the Blanks which will provide 15 weekend meal bags for children.

El Segundo, Norwalk: Cinco de Mayo weekend is coming to El Segundo! We will be offering a limited menu for curbside pick up from May 1st through May 5th. Find all the tacos you know and love, along with tortas, nachos, quesadillas, and a few of Carlos’ family recipes. Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, New Haven & Fairfield: In addition to the restaurant’s a la carte takeout menu (available for curbside pick-up or delivery daily from 3-9pm), the restaurant will be offering a Cinco Package ($50), Margarita Kits in a range of sizes, Titos mixers, beer buckets, and more.  They will do this May 1-5.

Judy’s Bar + Kitchen, Stamford: Choose a package for 2 people ($38) or 4 people ($76) and get your fill of soft tacos, nachos, fajitas, and Mexican wedding cookies. You can also add beer, margaritas, and sangria, to your order. Preorder by 5/1 for pickup on 5/5.

Longhorn Steakhouse, Various: Guests at LongHorn Steakhouse can celebrate Cinco de Mayo by ordering tequila to go, along with their favorite juicy steak. Starting at $25, guests can choose one liter of tequila or other liquor to take home. Guests can add a ready-to-grill, quality steak from the LongHorn Steak Shop starting at $6 per steak or opt for a fully-cooked Family Meal Deal.

Los Charros Cantina, Centerbrook: Order their special taco and tequila feast!  Get their build your own taco kits that come with plenty of sides and are sold in 10 packs. Margarita pitchers and carafes are available as well.  Preorder both at the Essex market online.

Marcia Selden Catering: Order by Friday May 1 for delivery on Tuesday May 5! There will be all kinds of “Mex-cellent” specials.

Millwright’s, Simsbury: Their Cinco de Mayo taco kit is available for preorder online. It costs $59 and feeds 4.

Nikki Glekas Events (NRG): Get their Cinco Meal Box which comes full of tacos, salad, guac, chips, and more. Thirsty? Add on the Fiesta Box which has libations like Corona, Don Julio, and limes.

Taco Daddy, Stamford: Their Cinco Pack, $45, comes with the OG crunchwrap, guac, 3 brisket tacos, 3 sprice chicken tacos, and supplies for margaritas.

Taco Loco, Bridgeport: They are reopening on Friday May 1, just in time for tasty Cinco de Mayo takeout specials.

Wakeman Town Farm, Westport: They are celebrating SIETE de Mayo!  Join them for a Virtual Mexican Fiesta (in your home!) on Thursday May 7. The package includes Food, Drinks, Paper Goods,Mexican Party Favors. The 21+ crowd can also add-on margaritas and Mexican beer.

Little Pub, (multiple locations): LITTLE PUB ¡TACO BOX! $45. Tacos are Fun. Building your own tacos at home is even more Funner.
