Lobster Cakes Recipe from Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill
June 15th is NATIONAL LOBSTER DAY! Yup…It’s a thing. To celebrate, we asked Chef Arturo-Franco Camacho of Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill in New Haven to send over one his favorite lobster-y recipes. Whip up some of these Lobster Cakes and celebrate the revered Day of Lobster. Enjoy!
Lobster Cakes

Shell & Bones Oyster Bar and Grill, New Haven
Makes 10 patties
Ingredients:
Seafood
2 lbs. lobster meat
Produce
1 handful of parsley fresh
Refrigerated
2 fresh eggs
Condiments
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ cup of Mayo
¼ tsp Worcestershire Sauce
Baking & Spices
3 grinds Black Pepper
1 tsp Kosher Salt
Oils & Vinegar
2 tbsp vegetable oil
Bread & Baked Goods
½ cup breadcrumbs, plain
Dairy
2 tbsp unsalted butter
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a mixing bowl, blend together all the ingredients.
Scoop out 10 cakes, shape into patties and coat with bread crumbs. Sauté lobster cakes in vegetable oil on one side. Flip over, add butter and finish cooking in oven for 5 minutes. Serve with your favorite sauce.
