You may have heard some whispers... Westport’s Jesup Hall will evolve into a MEXICAN spot…Don Memo over the next few weeks.  “While it is bittersweet to say goodbye to Jesup Hall, it is so exciting to create this new concept and be able to bring what we love about this cuisine and culture to downtown Westport,” they say.  CTBites will keep you updated!

Join Roia in New Haven for a virtual gnocchi cooking class on Friday the 5th of June at 6:30pm! Avi, along with guest bartender and co-founder of Liberation Bitters Keith Appleby, will be teaching a fun and engaging class on how to make gnocchi as well as a perfect Spring bubbly cocktail. You will receive all the necessary ingredients, and a few surprises, to make this event a meal to share with your significant other or to cook and enjoy as a family. There will be a Q+A directly following the class (optional) or you can close the zoom and enjoy your date/company. The kits provided will be for two people and cost $55. The pick-up will be on Thursday, June 4th from 4-6:30 pm at ROIA Restaurant.

InGroup Creative and Eat IN CT will host another installation of their Cheers IN CT Cocktail Class on June 8.  More details to come.

On June 10, Litchfield Saltwater Grille will host a virtual Wine Dinner.  You will receive 5 wines and 5 courses ready to eat, or part-cooked and ready to finish at home with heating instructions (in 15 minutes or less). Union Kitchen in West Hartford now has a Brunch Pop-Up event!  They dishing up family style brunch kits for takeout on Saturday and Sunday from 10:30am-1pm.  Kits start at $100 and serve 4.  Learn more here.

Match in Norwalk is now open for outdoor service.  They have 10 tables outside.  Due to the reduced amount of tables, we have implemented a time limit and added a temporary service charge (includes gratuity) of 25%.  Reservations are required as well.  For more details, click here.

Market Grille in Manchester is now offering Family Style Takeout Meals.  Choose from the Maine Lobster Roll New England Seafood Dinner, Southern BBQ Dinner, and the Italian Feast.

Firebox Restaurant in Hartford is sad to announce that they are closing permanently in light of these ongoing events.

Starting next week June 8th 2020, the following hours will go into effect at Bar Rosso in Stamford: Monday-Thursday Dinner 3pm-9pm, Friday-Saturday Brunch 11am-4pm and Dinner 4pm-11pm, Sunday Brunch 11am-4pm and Dinner 4pm-9pm. And don’t forget about Happy Hour all week long from 3pm-6pm.

Ordinary New Haven is now offering limited takeout options. Try their Doodle Burgers, Grilled Cheese, Chocolate Chip Cookies as well as cocktails and wine to go.
