TICKETS ARE NOW LIVE for weHartford’s 10/10 Picnic in the Park with Mofongo Restaurant 🎉 Picnic in the Park is a unique and safe experience for Greater Hartford locals. Proceeds will go to our hard hit restaurant partners and the Bushnell Park Foundation. Guests can order their picnic baskets & pickup at 1-4 PM at Bushnell Park where you can enjoy a socially distanced night of special outdoor entertainment (details on entertainment to be announced!). Baskets are $30 per person, PLUS Capital Icecream cart will be on site so you can end the night with a cool treat. Milestone Restaurant in Georgetown (Redding) is now open for lunch Friday - Sunday starting at 11:30AM. On Sundays, they also host a tailgating football menu special...order brats and a beer for $16 from 1PM -7PM. Outdoor seating includes a large patio (first come, first served), a covered deck and indoor dining. The latter two require reservations. Chef Tyler Anderson’s TA-QUE Street Taco Truck eats available Tuesday through Saturday every week in the Millwright's Parking Lot, 5pm to 8pm unless they sell out. No reservations.Great outdoor seating. Get some.

Hoodoo Barbecue school returns!! Come learn from the Hoodoo Crew, as the Pit Crew takes you behind the scenes for a four hour barbecue school from 8am-12pm. This is a hands on, in-depth, full scale, no secrets BBQ program. A Wiseman once said, you can’t pass barbecue tradition if you don’t pass it down. Learn everything from trimming and seasoning, to fire control and smoke, to carving and eating. Spots are limited, so sign up now. Dates: October 4th & 18th. November 8th & 22nd.

For nearly half a decade, historic South Norwalk has been home to one of the most prestigious and original art festivals in the region, the SoNo Arts Festival. With safety at the forefront, the SoNo Arts Festival is excited to introduce their first-ever “Gallery Walk” event. This free, safe space/social distancing event will take place in available retail properties along Washington Street, part of AGW SoNo Partners' newly acquired portfolio. Over 50 juried artists will house, display, and sell their works inside these unique retail and restaurant spaces. Art enthusiasts can stroll Washington Street’s 8+ gallery locations while dining, shopping, and enjoying live music performed by local talent.  

The SoNo Arts Festival runs October 8-11 and October 15-18, 2020. Hours: Thursday/Friday 4-9 PM, Saturday 11 AM – 9 PM and Sunday 11 AM – 5 PM.

Que Whiskey Kitchen in Southington has partnered with Rogers Orchards to create an Apple Harvest menu featuring its version of the best of the town’s annual Apple Harvest Festival tastes, from those celebrated Apple Fritters to Inside Out Apple Pie and everything in between. Enjoy throughout the month of October.
