Milk N Cookies Cookie Café and Cereal Bar Opens in Stamford

Although it took co-owners Louis Apicella and George Spirou 14 months to open their doors due to the pandemic, Milk N Cookies has finally opened in Stamford. Adding to their first location in Mamaroneck, Westchester, the duo signed their lease in Stamford last December when they realized that the city was “hungry for a nice dessert hangout spot.”

The cookie café and cereal bar features twelve unique 4.5-5 oz cookies, some of which are stuffed, and a variety of cereal infused milkshakes and ice creams. The menu has an abundance of options to satisfy your sweet tooth, whether you’re craving a chocolate chip cookie, an out-of-this-world galaxy cookie, or a fruit loops infused milkshake, you’ll find it here. 

Milk N Cookies, the official vendor of Duchess Cookies, has a variety of options that can appeal to children and adults alike, especially if you’ve been searching for an “Insta-worthy” dessert spot. 

Now, let’s talk about some favorites! My personal favorite was the churro Nutella cookie. This gooey, traditional snickerdoodle cookie is stuffed with Nutella -- obviously, it’s a must-have! You can also get the regular churro cookie which is filled with a warm and creamy dulce de leche center. Moving onto the cookie monster, a customer favorite, which is a bright blue sugar cookie filled with a chocolate chip cookie center. What’s better than a cookie stuffed with a gooey cookie? Another extremely Instagrammable dessert and favorite among kids (and adults!) is the pink unicorn sugar cookie which is filled with a creamy strawberry cheesecake filling and is sprinkled with edible glitter.

The funfetti cookie, one of Spirou’s top choices, is a traditional sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles throughout. Other fun cookie options are the s’mores, the red velvet, the oreo cheesecake, the chocolate chip cookie, the triple chocolate, the galaxy, the oatmeal apple pie, and the peanut butter chip cookie. Each cookie has a distinct appearance and features different flavors and a unique theme, which is why customers “are always trying new things.”

The store additionally offers cereal infused milkshakes and ice creams that can be personalized with your favorite cereal. Sold alongside the freshly baked cookies, these frozen treats are delicious and fun! If you’re a purist, you may choose to simply get a bowl of your favorite cereal.
