The event will feature an evening of fine wines, exquisite food from 11 different local caterers, and a combination of tremendous live and silent auction item. Former Stamford Mayor Dannel Malloy will host the evening’s live auction. The 13th annual wine tasting will be held in the Museum’s Bendel Mansion. These include: A Dash of Salt of Norwalk, Butterfield 8, David’s Soundview Catering, Frank & Julio Complete Event Planning, and Fratelli Market of Stamford, Illy Coffee, Michael Joseph’s Fine Foods of Darien, and Napa & Co. of Stamford, Rosie of New Canaan, Shelly’s On The River, Susan Kane Catering, Sweet on You, and Tawa Indian Cuisine, all of Stamford. “This signature event, a party-on-foot, is a great way to sample terrific food and wine, and support the SM&NC’s educational mission of service to the community,” said Melissa H. Mulrooney, executive director. “The committee has been hard at work finding unique and tempting items to include in this year’s silent auction and live auction, “ said Eva Levine of New Canaan, silent auction co-chair. “Some of the items include an exclusive Scotch tasting for 10, a U.S.Open ticket package, a stay in an adobe home at Cochiti Villa at Pueblo Encantado in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and the must-have Kindle,” said Angela Bollettieri of Stamford, silent auction co-chair.
