Win Dinner w/ Colman Andrews @ Library Fundraiser

Despite our obsession with restaurants, what could be better than a fabulous dinner at home? How about a dinner for six prepared by renown chef, author and restaurant critic Colman Andrews, Co-founder and former editor-in-chief of Saveur magazine, restaurant critic for Gourmet magazine, current editorial director of The Daily Meal? This rare opportunity is available at The Ferguson Library's benefit in Stamford, A Novel Affair, on May 3 from 6-9 pm, when Colman will be offering this unique package as an auction item. 

Assisted by Stamford native and fellow restaurant editor at The Daily Meal, Molly Aronica, as his sous chef, Colman will work his magic in your kitchen. This should be an incredible experience for the food lover, as Colman will discuss the meal as well as wine pairings with you -- and you'll do the shopping with your $450 budget. You may even get the inside scoop on everything from restaurant reviewing to Ferran Adria (Colman wrote the definitive book, Ferran: the Inside story of El Bulli and the Man who Reinvented Food). 

Don't miss A Novel Affair, as it will be a great evening of wine tastings provided by BevMax and delicious food from area restaurants and caterers, including: Barcelona Greenwich, Coromandel, David's Soundview Catering, DiMare Pastry Shop, La Dolce Vita Chocolate & More, Napa & Co., New Wave Seafood, Remo's Brick Oven Pizza, Susan Kane Catering, Tabouli Grill and The Fez. New this year, some of Stamford's most popular celebrities will be pouring their favorite wines. To round out the evening, there will be an open bar, jazz by Cookie Thomas and his Band, and live and silent auctions.
