Restaurant Chef Events CTbites' Chef Demo Tent @ The 9th Annual Blues, Views & BBQ Festival ellen bowen August 16, 2016 The 9th annual Blues, Views & BBQ Festival will be held in Westport CT on September 3 & 4 at the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts and the grounds of the Westport Library. CTbites will once again play host to the area's top chefs as they grill up some of their favorite dishes and offer up samples for attendees of the festival. CTbites Chef Line-up for 2016 includes: Saturday 9/3 12-4 pm 12:00- Rothbard's- Chef Jon Vaast 1:00- Match/Nom Eez- Chef Match Storch 2:00- Da Pietro's- Chef Pietro Scotti 3:00- The Spread / El Segundo- Chef Carlos Baez 4:00- Pearl at Longshore- Chef Michael Hazen Smokin’ tunes will resonate right in downtown Westport at the Festival’s LEVITT LIVE venue inside the Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts performed by some of the best blues, soul, rock and funk artists in the business. Saturday’s line up includes: Funky Meters, Anders Osborne, Marc Broussard, Pappa Chubby, Jay Stollman and Max Schofield and Manny and The Mojomatics. Sunday’s headliners include The Revivalists, Raw Oyster Cult, Walter Wolfman Washington, High and Mighty Brass Band ,Jamie MCClean and the School of Rock All Stars. JESUP JAM at the Westport Library upper parking lot offers more music and activities for every age; pie and rib eating contests, bouncy amusements, kids’ activities, a Kansas City Barbeque Society competition to benefit the Westport Woman’s Club’s Food Closet and more. There will be a BBQ, gourmet and specialty food marketplace and a food court filled with delicious food and other refreshments for sale by Bobby Q’s Bodacious BBQ, The Melt Mobile, Winnie’s Jerk Chicken & Fish, Rory’s Rothbard's, Trolley Dogz, Mr Frosty Ice Cream, Rita’s Italian Ice and more.
