Pair the dishes with special local brews from Stony Creek and Old Ox. Barcelona New Haven & The Wine Thief are teaming up for a winemaker dinner on Tuesday June 20. Taste wines from Blanco Nieva and Bodega Ochoa alongside dishes by Celebrity Chef and Barcelona Wine Bar Culinary Director Christopher Lee. Feast on four courses and participate in a Q&A. It costs approximately $70 (inclusive of tax and tip) and begins at 6:30pm. On Tuesday June 20, Market Place Kitchen and Bar in Avon presents a beer dinner with A Brother’s Guide. Enjoy a five course meal of local, organic dishes paired with tasty wines for $55 per person.Wednesday June 21 marks International World Peace Yoga Day. In honor of the occasion, Two Roads and Poses 2 Pints will host an evening yoga class in the hopyard. A $15 ticket includes a beer and an hour of class. Class runs from 6:30-7:30pm. All levels are welcome- just bring your own mat. The Boathouse Restaurant at Saugatuck invites you to a “Saugy Bottom Thursday” happy hour on the river. Enjoy bites and drink specials on the river from 5-7pm.On Friday June 23, celebrate summer at the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden in Suffield, CT. Enjoy farm-to-table offerings by The Federal, signature cocktails, a silent auction, house and garden tours, and music by The Chris Marolda Duo. Tickets range from $75-$150, with all proceeds going to the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden. Max's Chef to Farm Dinner, "Dinner & A Movie Under The Stars," takes place at Rosedale Farms & Vineyards in Simsbury on Friday June 23. The evening begins with a reception at 6:30pm and continues with a multi-course tasting menu paired with wine. Then, watch “La La Land” under the moonlight. Popcorn and a cash bar will be available for the film. Return to Two Roads on Saturday June 24 for their 4th annual Road Jam Music Fest. Starting at 2pm, bands will take the stage as the area’s top food trucks converge on the brewery. A $35 entry fee includes entrance to the concert as well as a pint of beer. The Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk presents Maritime with a Twist! On June 22 from 6-8pm, the aquarium will transform into an adults-only evening with food from SoNo restaurants and live music. Guests can see the aquarium’s newest attractions, such as the expanded jellyfish area. Tickets are $50 per person, or $45 for members. La Foresta Restaurant & Wine Bar in Killingworth will offer a three course wine pairing menu on Thursday nights for $39.95.
