Places To Celebrate Oktoberfest in CT: 2017 Edition

Oktoberfest is arriving early this year!  Local restaurants and hotspots are celebrating the fall festival as early as September!  From authentic German cuisine to live music to imported beers, here are places in Connecticut with upcoming Oktoberfest celebrations.   1. Two Roads, Stratford: The 5th Annual Two Roads Ok2berfest takes place September 16 and 17. There will be authentic German music, German-style beers, food, games and more.
  2. Rothbard Ale & Larder, Westport: Their second annual Oktoberfest will take place on Saturday, September 23. Join them for authentic German beers, dishes, games, and live music all day long.
  3. Half Full, Stamford: At Half Full Brewery, Octoberfest is “CanToberfest.” On September 30, enjoy a pop up beer garden, lawn games, a can stein hoist competition, food trucks, and more. The festival will support the Mill River Park Collaborative
  4. Beer Garden at Shippan Landing, Stamford: On September 16 & 17, participate in Oktoberfest at The Beer Garden at Shippan Landing! The two day event features pumpkin and harvest beers, cocktails, live music, food trucks, contests and more!
  5. The Seehund, New London: The Seehund German Pub & Restaurant will celebrate Oktoberfest from Join us October 6-10.
  6. Stony Creek, Branford: Stony Creek Brewery's Docktoberfest takes place October 7. The brewery will become a beer garden, complete with food, music, games, and more. The $15 ticket even includes a take home stein.
  7. East Side Restaurant, New Britain: It's always Oktoberfest at East Side Restaurant in New Britain.
  8. Quassy Amusement Park, Middlebury: The annual Octoberfest at Quassy Amusement Park in Middkebury will take place on September 23 & 24.  It includes live traditional music; a food pavilion with knockwurst, bratwurst, sauerkraut, potato pancakes, roasted pork, and more; and plenty of rides
  9. Milford Oktoberfest, Milford: The 29th Annual Milford Oktoberfest will unfold at the Rotary Pavilion at Fowler Field behind the Milford Public Library on Saturday September 23. Over 16 German beers provided by Orange Ale House and food trucks, brats, and wurst will make for tasty eats!
  10. Terrain, Westport: Terrain Garden Cafe celebrates Oktoberfest on September 21st from 6-8:30pm. Captain Lawrence Brewing Co. and Two Roads Brewing Co. will present their seasonal beers alongside a smorgasbord of traditional German fair foods and festive games on our garden patio
  11. St. Peter Church, New Britain: St. Peter Church will be hosting its 7th annual Oktoberfest Saturday, September 23. There will be plenty of German food, imported German beer and wine, dessert, dancers, and music all day long.
  12. Max’s Hoptoberfest @ Rosedale Farms, Simsbury: Celebrate Max’s 4th Annual Hoptoberfest on Sunday, October 8 at Rosedale Farms. The evening includes local beer, live music, and a German inspired spread by Max Catering & Events.
  13. Cask Republic, New Haven, Norwalk, and Stamford: From September 13 to October 3, all Cask Republic locations will be celebrating with steins of beer, a curated German beer line up, and food specials.
  14. Gingerman, Greenwich: The Ginger Man in Greenwich will offer Oktoberfest food specials like German Sausage Flatbread, a Bavarian Craft Burger, a Schnitzel BLT, and so much more from September 16-October 3.
  15. Artisanal Burger Company, Manchester: Throughout the months of September and October, the Artisanal Burger Company will offer special Oktoberfest themed menu items like Pork Schnitzel, a Bavarian Burger, and Cheddar Ale Soup.
  16. Stamford Museum & Nature Center, Stamford:: Oktoberfest celebration is on October 6 at 7pm. Enjoy German food, beers, and even a s'mores bar!
  17. O’Neil’s Irish Pub, Norwalk: O'Neil Irish Pub invites you to an Oktoberfest Party on September 28 with great beers, food and music by the Austrian Boys Band.
