Experience Greenwich week runs from October 22-28.  Over 150 merchants, retail stores, restaurants, and art galleries will have specials across town.  

Barcelona Fairfield hosts a Fall Patio Paella Party on Thursday October 25 from 6:30-8:30pm.  Chef Jose will show you how to make the Spanish dish.  Plus, there will be seasonal tapas, wine, and a DJ. 

L’Escale invites you to a St. Supery Wine Dinner on Wednesday October 24.  Dinner starts at 6:30pm.  Seating is limited, so call (203) 661-4600 for your reservation.

Sport Hill Farm in Easton presents “Barn Bon Vivants” on Sturday October 27.  The Halloween themed evening for adults will be catered by Chef Anne of The First Bite and Chef Genee of Herbaceous Catering. The evening features one seasonal cocktail and five small plates featuring seasonal produce from the farm. 

Sundays through Thursdays from 4-8pm, Outriggers in Stratford will offer a 3 course prix fixe dinner for $28.95.  During October, they will feature seasonal beers, wine specials, and autumn-inspired cocktails.  

On Tuesday October 23, Washington Prime in SoNo hosts a Rombauer Wine Dinner.  The 5-Course meal will be paired with wines from Rombauer, a premium winery based in Napa Valley. Tickets are $95 per person.  https://www.facebook.com/events/1180684728754165/ 

Stores and restaurants on Stratford’s Paradise Green are inviting kids to come trick-or-treating on Tuesday October 23 from 4:30-5:30pm.

Chop Shop Cooking continues its fall classes with “The Hen House” on Thursday October 24.  The menu includes Chicken Lettuce Cups with Cashews & Sweet Chili Sauce; Crispy Lemon Chicken Thighs with Cauliflower Steaks & Salsa Verde, Jerk Chicken & Peach Skewers, and Chicken Parmesan with Roasted Cherry Tomatoes.

On Thursday October 25, Saltbar in Stamford invites you to a Pumpkin Carving Party from 7-9pm.  A $25 ticket includes a pumpkin, carving tools, and a beer.

The 2nd Annual Wine at the Klein takes place at the Klein Memorial Auditorium in Bridgeport on Thursday October 25.  Sample 50+ wines and enjoy light refreshments.   The Klein Dance Company will make a special appearance!  Proceeds benefit future programs at The Klein & Klein Theatre Arts, their arts education program for Bridgeport youth.  https://www.theklein.org/buy-tickets/upcoming-events/wine-at-the-klein/  

SIP & SAVOR 2018, a wine tasting fundraiser event, will be held on Friday, October 26 from 6-8pm, at The Westport Woman's Club (44 Imperial Avenue, Westport, CT). A wide variety of wines provided by Castle Wine & Spirits, will be available for tasting, as well as an array of seasonal hors d’oeuvres by Westport’s Gruel Britannia. Live music and prize drawings will be part of this festive evening as well. Profits from the evening will benefit both need-based college scholarships for high school seniors, as well as community grants to Fairfield County non-profit organizations. A percentage of all SIP & SAVOR wine orders placed that evening will be donated by Castle Wine to the WWC fundraising effort.  Tickets are $60.00 each and available at www.westportwomansclub.org.

Starting on Friday October 26, Michael Jordan’s Steak House will launch a Steaksmanship Series menu at their Mohegan Sun location on October 26.  The special features two flights of premium proteins.  The $160 Flight 23 includes he Flight 23 ($160) comes with a Mishima reserve 12 oz. Domestic Wagyu Strip with a shishito pepper au poivre, Strauss Brands 14 oz. bone-in Cowgirl Ribeye with a balsamic Rosemary cipollini, and a Savage Hill 6 oz. Filet Mignon with foie gras butter.  The $223 Legendary Flight includes those 3 meats along with A Port Clyde Jonah Crab with smoked tomato butter, Georges Bank Scallops Rockefeller, and fresh Maine Lobster with drawn butter.

The 4th Annual Richman Spooktacular Chili Challenge will take place on Saturday, October 27 from 12-5pm at the Simsbury Meadows Performing Arts Center on Iron Horse Boulevard. The event is a fully-sanctioned International Chili Society (ICS) cook-off and, for the third year in a row, will include a local restaurant competition.  Tickets are $10 in advance for age 11 and up.
