The presence of food as edible décor is unexpected and exciting! People eat with their eyes, so before they even take a seat their mouths are watering just looking at your table! Beautiful tablescape design, incorporating food, is the key to these spectacular tables.

Holiday theming and scheming can be a little overwhelming so eliminate the stress with these terrific ideas from a few of our recent events:

  1. Family style appetizers and edible centerpieces will take your table from dull to dazzle. The rustic cheese and charcuterie boards pictured add to the beautiful table design. They help to create conversation amongst your guests as they have no choice but to say, “Please pass the cheese!”

  2. Kick the bread and butter to the curb! We love grilled ficelle with herbed ricotta. Our hand-rolled breadsticks look awesome served in a glass vase or mint julep cup. We’re also crazy for the unique shape (and crunch) of Italian taralli, as they taste yummy and look really cool. Pick one of your favorite decorative bowls or platters to serve these delicious bites in.

  3. Add to the center of your table design with a “too pretty to eat” crudité, (pictured above). We served ours with roasted garlic hummus garnished with crispy chick peas. Presenting the hummus like this makes something ordinary, extraordinary.
