Every Monday night, visit Washington Prime in SoNo for a 2 course prime rib dinner special. $39 per person includes a Caesar salad, a 16oz steak, and mashed potatoes.

Taproot in Bethel invites you to its first wine dinner of Tuesday February 27. The evening, entitled “An American Heritage Dinner,” consists of five courses paired with complementary wines. It is $85 per person and starts at 6:30. 

Le Penguin in Westport is hosting a wine dinner on February 28th at 6:30 pm. The wine director from Chateau LaGrange will be on hand to discuss the wines. Cost is $100. RSVP 203. 557.6432.

Is there a Ridgefield restaurant that you have looked forward to trying but just haven’t had the chance to yet? Well, now is the time!  Ridgefield Restaurant Week is back for the third year and gives you the opportunity to experience amazing dining destinations at a great price. Visit participating restaurants like Bailey’s Backyard, Bareburger, Bernard’s, Little Pub, Southwest Café, Terra Sole Ristorante, and Wooster Hollow Café, from February 26 - March 4 for special price fixe lunch and/or dinner specials.

Stamford's annual Winter Restaurant Weeks runs through March 4. 21 different restaurants in Stamford will be offer special menus for both lunch and dinner ranging from $14.18 to $38.18.

Zohara Mediterranean Kitchen in West Hartford will host a “Big Fat Greek Wine Dinner” on Tuesday February 27. Andrew Mulligan, Greek Wine Portfolio Expert from Skurnik Wine & Spirits, will guide you through an evening of Greek cuisine and wine. It costs $75 per person, plus tax and gratuity.

Stop by Whole Foods in Darien on Tuesday February 27 for a Family Cooking Class called Quick & Easy Probiotic Superfoods.” Beth Hill from Ezpz Wellness will teach your family all about fermentation and how to make quick and tasty probiotic superfoods to benefit your health. It’s free!

The next day, February 28, the Greenwich location of Whole Foods will have a “Fruits and Veggies to Keep the Doctor Away Tour” from 1-2pm.

Tim’s Kitchen at Wakeman Town Farm is starting an 8-Week After-School Class for Grades 5-8. It will take place on Wednesdays from February 28 - April 25, 3:30pm-5:30pm. The theme is “Cooking Around the Globe” and the class will be led by Instructor Lisa Finn. $350/child.

On February 28, Baldanza in New Canaan presents a Raptor Ridge Winery Dinner. Scott Shull, who has been making Oregon wines since 1989, will guide you through a 4 course meal. Chop Shop Cooking presents “Warming Winter Meals” on February 28. The menu includes Beef Stroganoff with Egg Noodles, Shakshuka (eggs poached in tomato bell pepper sauce) with Feta, Roasted Chicken Thighs with Apples and Grapes, and Thai Coconut Curry Turkey Meatballs. Brewery Legitimus in West Hartford will have its first craft beer dinner on Wednesday February 28! They’re teaming up with Christie Caters for a five course meal in the taproom. It runs from 6:30-9:30pm and costs $60 per person.

On Thursday March 1, the Roger Sherman Inn in New Canaan will host a Stags Leap Wine Dinner. Dishes like Dive into dishes like House Made Pork Rillette with Whole Grain Mustard and Crispy Pork Belly with Crushed Turnips and Stewed Cherries will appear on the four course menu. Red Bee Honey presents Beekeeping 101 in conjunction with Westport Continuing Education on Sunday March 4 from 1-3pm.  Learn basic beekeeping practices, from setting up your first beehive to honey harvest, and everything in between.
