Stratford Restaurant Week will take place from April 22-28.  Participating restaurants include neighborhood favorites like Riverview Bistro, The Beach House Grill, Outriggers, Joey C’s, Paradise Pizza, The Lazy Dog Tavern, Kama Sushi, and more. 

Visit Ambler Farm on Saturday April 28 for a Spring Pancake Breakfast from 11am-12:30pm.  Plus, catch up with the farm animals, do a fun spring-themed craft, and watch the sheep have their wool shorn in preparation for warmer weather.  It is $15 per adult and $5 per child.   

On Monday April 23, L’escale will host a wine dinner featuring Pago de Carraovejas.  The meal will include dishes like Grilled Lamb Chop, Heritage Pork Loin, Octopus “Escabeche,” and more.  It costs $85 per person.

Join Matt Storch at Match Restaurant in South Norwalk and tune in LIVE to watch Matt battle it out on The Food Network's Chopped. It all goes down April 24th with a full evening's line up events. CTbites and Ken Tuccio will be in the house at 9:15 with a live podcast. At 9:00pm Match will host their late night happy hour including a Broken Shed Vodka Chopped Competition where YOU get to be the JUDGE. At 10pm they will fire up the huge screen and projector to view the premiere of the episode.   

Food Rescue US, the direct-transfer food rescue organization dedicated to ending food insecurity in America, is thrilled to present their signature fundraising event, Food for All on Wednesday April 25. General Admission tickets are $125 and this year they are also offering an Exclusive Cocktail Hour from 5:30-6:30pm.  Tickets are $250 and include access to private pre-event cocktails and food presented by Chef Bill Taibe of Kawa Ni, Jessup Hall, and Whelk. Tickets to the cocktail hour also cover general admission for the rest of the evening.   

On Wednesday April 25, elm restaurant in New Canaan invites you to a Withers Wine Dinner.  The 4 course meal costs $135 per person, plus tax and gratuity.  Reservations required.

Fairfield Cheese Company presents Cheese and Chocolate at Wakeman Town Farm on Thursday April 26.  Learn about the chocolate making process while tasting it alongside complementary cheeses.  25% of the proceeds will go toward supporting Wakeman Town Farm.   

Trattoria Toscana in Hartford will host a “Los Tres Amigos Wine Dinner” on Thursday April 26 from 6-10pm.  Meet the Winemakers and enjoy an evening celebrating the food, wine and flavors of Spain, Argentina and Chile.  It is $75, inclusive of tax and tip.   

Tickets are on sale now for The Glass House’s Summer Party on June 9.  From 12-4pm, there will be music, a picnic, and art. 

In honor of National Burger Month, b restaurants are hosting a Build a Better Burger Contest through May 28.  Submit your recipe online for the chance to win a burger a week for the rest of 2018!   

Olde 37 Patio & Grill’s outdoor patio is now open!  Find them in New Fairfield.

The Spread in Norwalk has always been known for happy hour, and now the Greenwich location is following suit!  Join them Monday-Friday from 4:30-6:30pm for select $6 drinks, wine and beer specials, and creations from Chef Carlos.

Coffee Spot is now open in Stamford’s Harbor Point neighborhood.  They will be serve Seattle’s Best Coffee products and barista-style coffee drinks.  There will also be a serve coffee station and fresh baked goods like muffins, bagels, and pastries.

Westport’s Supper & Soul dinner and concert series continues on Saturday April 28.  Participants can enjoy a three course meal at one of five downtown restaurants, see a concert at the Seabury Center, and return to any of the same restaurants for happy hour pricing for drinks.  This week features Vanessa Collier and tickets are $75.

Norwalk’s “amazing race” will take place in the Wall Street and SoNo neighborhoods of Norwalk on Saturday, April 28. Participants are put into teams of 4 and are guided through the hunt on the City Hunt phone app. From there, a series of clues, challenges, and tasks are tackled with the successful completion of these activities being recorded or photographed on the team leader’s phone. Tickets are $40.

Guy Fieri’s Foxwoods Kitchen & Bar now has “Big Bite Brunch!”  It runs every Sunday from 10am-3pm.
