El Segundo is celebrating its 2nd Anniversary with a party on Thursday August 30.  It begins at 4pm with Complimentary Bites until 7pm.  Live Music in the courtyard by PANA starts at 8pm.  There will also be Drink Specials, A Dunk Tank, and more carnival activities.

The 2018 New England Food Truck Festival takes place September 1 & 2 at Mohegan Sun Casino.  There will be food, live music/bands, face painting for the kids, field games, and fireworks on Saturday starting at 9:30 P.M.   

The 2018 Caribbean Cultural Jerk Festival arrives in Danbury on Sunday September 2.   

Visit Dinosaur BBQ in Stamford on Thursdays at 7pm for their Summer Porch Series! They’re saying goodbye to summer on the huge patio with local brews, tunes, and bar-b-que. 

On Monday, August 27, Chef Billy Grant of Grants Restaurant & Bar, Restaurant Bricco, and Bricco Trattoria will host a gourmet dinner featuring award-winning, local celebrity chefs in an unforgettable evening to benefit Foodshare.  The event begins at 6pm and takes place at Grants Restaurant & Bar located at 977 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford.  Dinner consists of a six-course tasting menu with wine pairings provided by Maximum Beverage. Tickets are $125 with 100% of the proceeds going to the food bank. 

Elm City Social & New England Brewing company are collaborating for a “No Ducks Given” 6 course beer and cocktail dinner on Monday August 27.  Chef John Brennan has created a menu that goes perfectly with selections from the brewery.  

Holmberg Orchards & Winery invites you to try “Find the Wine: A Grown-Up Corn Maze Adventure” through September 14.  Join them after the maze for live music, a food truck, and a glass of your favorite wine!   

The first ever West Hartford Restaurant Week takes place August 28 – September 3.  Participating restaurants throughout West Hartford will offer special fixed price multi course menus at $12 for lunch and $20, $30 or $40 for dinner.   

The Spread's Labor Day Weekend Luau Party is on Sunday Sept 2nd starting at 5pm. Chef Carlos Baez will be creating a feast, featuring a Pig Roast with sides included.  Come get lei’d. Tickets can be bought here and includes Pig Roast & Sides.

The Green Door Restaurant is opening August 29th at 5pm!  Check them out at 41 Bridge Street in Collinsville, CT.

Bartaco’s latest #secrettaco- the lobster taco- was so popular that they are continuing it through October 4.  It’s the restaurant’s first hard taco!

On August 30, be sure to check out Max's Chef to Farm Dinner "Ode to Tomatoes."  At Rosedale Farms and Vineyards, the evening begins with a reception.  Then, head out for a tour of the farm.  The event concludes in ae tented area and an al fresco kitchen.   

Stamford Restaurant Week continues through September 2!  Many of the city’s hotspots are offering prix fixe menus for dinner and lunch.   

The Westport - Weston Chamber of Commerce and DBD Productions announces the 2018 Blues, Views & BBQ Festival, which will take place September 1 & 2.  This year, Blues Views and BBQ will feature 20 bands, a bounce park, Touch a Truck, airbrush tattoos, pie and rib eating contests, and a second stage showcasing local and family friendly musical entertainment.  The festival will be held in the Imperial Ave commuter lot in addition to the Levitt Pavilion.
