NORWALK NOW presents CRUSH, A 5 Day Celebration of Beer, Wine, and Spirits, Tuesday thru Saturday, October 16-20, 2018 (*Sunday Bonus – DETOX Run/Walk/Bike/Yoga).

CRUSH comes to Norwalk! This 5-day schedule of thirst-quenching events celebrating the beer, wine, and spirits world is being presented by Norwalk Now’s talented group of businesses and special guests from the beverage world. Beach House SoNo teams up with Trivia AD (“Where Wisdom Wins”) on Thursday for an All-Booze Trivia Night paired with drink specials and bar menu. Test your inner sommelier, distiller, and brew master and win some great prizes from some of your favorite spirit brands!

Bobby Q’s Cue & Co. has a 5-day Texas Blow Out starting with Tuesday-Texas Hold Em Tournament Sponsored by Sagamore Rye, Wednesday-Boozy Trivia with Lonestar Beer, Thursday-BBQ Tacos, Tito's & Tequila Drinks with an Acoustic Jam, Friday-Texas BBQ Menu with Pitmaster Nestor Laracuente & Shiner Beer, Saturday - Shakedown with  the Grateful Dead Band, Deep Eddy Vodka cocktail specials, and new Belgium beer specials.

El Segundo presents Oktoberfest on Wednesday with a five-course German menu as translated by Chef Carlos Baez. They will be collaborating with Ayinger Octoberfest and Sierra Nevada/Weihenstephaner Octoberfest beer and Jägermeister. $79

Evarito’s Mexican Kitchen & Bar gets into the CRUSH spirit all week long with their Staycation tropical drink menu and an exclusive Clase Azul Tequila Dinner  on Tuesday featuring this artisan tequila company’s Reposado, Anejo, Mezcal Corderos de Villa, and La Pinta Dulce Conquista tequilas paired with Chef Hugo Orozco’s modern Mexican fare. $85

House of Katia holds the password into her Speakeasy Boutique all week long. From Gin & Gems and Branding & Bourbon, to the Great Gatsby, this stylish CRUSH event can only be accessed with the secret code. 

The Maritime Aquarium gets in on the CRUSH fun with their Saturday Octoberfest Cruise featuring tastings from local craft breweries. Enjoy flagship and seasonal products from Two Roads Brewery Co. and Beer’d Brewing Co. while taking in the gorgeous sights on Long Island Sound. $50

O’Neill’s Irish Pub  and Collective Arts Brewing hosts a Libation Trivia night with Brainstormer Trivia on Tuesday. The fun continues on Wednesday with Norwalk Now business partner Cigar Factory Outlet for a Cigar, Bourbon & Scotch Tasting featuring a large variety of superior scotch and bourbon brands, plus premium cigars from the largest Oliva Cigar retailer in the country ($65).  On Thursday, enjoy a Tap Takeover by Stone Brewing Co. featuring their Enjoy By 10/31 IPA. 

Our House SoNo presents Libation Theater. Relax in their lower level entertainment lounge for a movie experience that includes a burger and fries by 2 Bills Grill, a house special cocktail, and popcorn. The beverage centric movie line-up includes: Tuesday - Cocktail, Wednesday - Superbad, and Thursday - Beerfest. Seating is limited. $25

Peaches Southern Pub & Juke Joint has a very special Southern Fried Whiskey Dinner with Gregg Glaser of Modern Distillery Age on Tuesday. This 4-course dinner features an in-depth whiskey/bourbon tasting and tutorial from one of the most educated palates in the spirits industry. $75 

Pedego Electric Bikes continues their popular bike tour series with Bicycles & Bellinis with Public Wine Bar on Saturday and Bicycles & Bloody Marys with Harlan Public on Sunday (bonus day!). These glorious guided morning bike rides along the scenic coastal roadways and hidden gems of Norwalk are followed by a delicious brunch at Norwalk Now’s amazing restaurants. 

Public Wine Bar is living up to its name with a Kendall Jackson Estate Wine Dinner with wine expert Doug Paulding, the author of The Wine Tasting Journal on Thursday. This very special wine event includes an author wine reception, book signing, and 5-course wine pairing dinner, plus a copy of The Wine Tasting Journal. $75 

Salon Être  is crushing it with their Beauty & Booze event on Thursday which highlights haircare mixology while enjoying cocktails by mixologist Danny from Norwalk Now business partner The Spread. You will leave looking fabulous and with a few cocktail recipes to take home so you can make them yourself. $15 to be applied toward products/services. 

Saltwater Restaurant joins forces with Cylinder Vodka on Tuesday to show you how to make your own vodka cocktails with a personalized touch. Enjoy 4 cocktails, 4 appetizers, and take home recipes from this premium artisan vodka brand. Limited space. $40

The Spread is going back to school - A Classics Class on Tuesday taught by The Master and his Apprentice! This over-the-top class taught by Shawn Longyear and Sean Nye will teach "students" how to make 5 classic cocktails to be enjoyed with classic foods prepared by Chef Carlos Baez. $69

The Wall Street Theater rocks out on Friday with Norwalk Band & Brew Night. In the house will be Pyn Siren, Wild America, and Ecoustic Rock Monster.  Craft beer specials all night long. $10 

Washington Prime  is offering a CRUSH-long special for Wine Lovers and the wine curious all week long. Order any bottle from their amazing wine list before 5:30 p.m. and receive 25% OFF! No Price Restriction! On Wednesday it’s G.H. Mumm Champagne & Oysters. Taste and pair three preparations, raw, grilled and fried.
