Washington Prime in SoNo presents its annual Game Dinner on February 26.  The Price is $85 per person and includes a 5-course meal and open bar!  Dishes include Bison Ribeye Tartare, Wild Boar Meatballs, and more. 

Max Amore in Glastonbury invites you to a Michele Chiarlo Wine Dinner on Tuesday February 26.  The beautiful Italian wines will be features next to an amuse and 4 courses.  Tickets are $90 plus tax and tip.

More than 100 Connecticut Restaurant Association restaurants throughout CT are participating in a new week-long initiative to encourage people to support the state’s restaurant industry. Restaurants across the state will offer an array of choices, which will include prix fixe menus, specials, discounts and more. The week-long promotion will run from Monday, February 25 through Sunday, March 3 and all menus and specials can be found online at www.DineOutCT.com.

On Thursday February 28, join Bar Rosso for its first annual wine dinner of 2019 featuring Chalk Hill winery.  An introductory reception will go from 6:30pm to 7:00pm with charcuterie and the famous Lucien Albrecht Brut Rose.  That will be followed by a four course meal paired with Chalk Hill wines.  RSVP: 203-388-8640 and ask for Erika or Diego.

Sommelier Tim Ratchford is the new General Manager of Porrón & Piña.  He and bartender Tim Cabral are kicking-off a three part series of tastings on the last Thursday of the month based on the “Parts Unknown” of Spain.  The beverage tastings will be offered at $50.00 a person (tax and gratuity included) and include small tapas. The Stamford Chamber of Commerce presents “Taste of Stamford” on Thursday, February 28 at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Stamford.  Your ticket to the event will provide you with all-inclusive food at chef-hosted tasting stations from Stamford and surrounding areas top restaurants.  Tickets start at $70. 

Counterweight and Craft260 in Fairfield are teaming up for a Beer Dinner on Thursday February 28.  The four course meal will include the famous Headway IPA, the Crucial Mass DIPA, and some cask surprises.

Chop Shop Cooking invites you to a cooking class all about Spanish Tapas on February 28.  It costs $80 per person and runs from 7-9pm.

On Friday March 1, visit Two Roads for their 1st Annual Caskfest.  $45 includes entry, a glass, an unlimited 3 oz pours from 30 different Two Roads Casks.

Rowayton Seafood is celebrating Mardi Gras from March 1-5.  From Louisiana fried catfish and po’boys, to mind-bending Sazeracs, join the celebration! Inspired by Chef Charles Hoffman’s NOLA roots, this 5-day carnival menu is filled with hearty Creole dishes, fresh seafood, traditional ingredients, and modern interpretations. 

Valentine’s Day continues at AMG Catering.  They’re presenting another Couple’s Cooking Class on Wednesday February 27.  The menu includes Sweet and savory brie “en croute,” Lobster pot pies Pernod, Endive salad with Roquefort, and Salted caramel “trifles” with chocolate. 

The Hops Company’s Fire, Ice and Funk Party will take place on March 2 starting at 5pm.  It’s Mardi Gras weekend and they will be celebrating with an ice luge, drink specials, prizes, giveaways and DJ!  Tickets are free.

Taste of Black Rock Beer Wine & Food Tasting takes place on Saturday March 2 from 7:30-10pm at the Burroughs Community Center in Bridgeport.  There will be local breweries, assorted wine, and local food. 

On Sunday March 3, learn how to make Limoncello at The Wine Press in New Haven.  Tickets are $40 and it runs from 2-4pm. 

The Beer Collective in New Haven hosts an OEC and B United Beer Dinner on Sunday March 3.  $50 (plus tax and gratuity) gets you four courses and a welcome beer. 

Stamford Restaurant Week runs through March 3.  This year, enjoy prix fixe menus ranging in price from $14.19 and $22.19 for lunch, and $28.19 and $38.19 for dinner.
